Since not everyone has brown paper bags lying around, I used the brown paper that Amazon uses to stuff in shipping boxes. It's 12 inches wide by many feet long. I save it from every shipment. I straighten it and roll it around old paper towel tubes. Works awesome. Thanks for the video.

This worked. I had red candle wax splash onto my white carpet in several locations. It took several brown paper bags and well over an hour of tediously pulling up the wax but it worked! There remains a very light hue of color that’s barely noticeable. I may try and hit it again on another day just to get the very last pale hue out of a few areas. Thanks for the tutorial!

I have two stains on my curtains one is just stained And I fixed that by this method but not the other one that was dried just for like 1or 2mins so what should I do and it just get black stained 😕😑😕
Does it work with news paper
It does work with some other types of paper. Be careful using news paper, or paper that has been printed on, as the ink from the paper can transfer to the carpet and stain the carpet. It is best to use clean paper. Good luck!

Did take off a lot of the wax but also basically burnt my carpet. And the iron was on very low. So it did work abit I guess but my carpets messed up and I’m super stressed as I’m living in a new build and renting it 😢 that’s a big chunk of my deposit gone 🤦🏾♀️
Like I said in the video, the iron temperature should be tested before using. I offer a couple of methods to do this in the video.
Remember most carpet are made out of synthetic material. Similar to ironing synthetic clothing, the iron must be on a low or synthetic material heat setting.

@@TheStainGuide I was about to update my comment. As I noticed that my carpet didn’t actually burn. There was just wax still on it which dried up making it look and feel burnt. I’ve done this method again today and it’s looking better and better. There’s still wax showing up on the paper so I think I’ll try again later. But almost all the wax is off. So this method defo works just needs time and patience. Thanks alot for this video!!!

Can u use grease proof paper instead of brown paper
I've never tried it but greaseproof paper has wax in it and I don't think it would work well for this. I don't think it would absorb wax very well. You could try white computer printer paper.
I even had newspaper under my Scentsy wax light but the wax ran off the newspaper and here I am!
Still have red stains😢. The wax is 99% gone, the red faded to pink but still very visible.
Can we use baking sheets?
Baking sheets are not as absorbent and will not work as well
Can I use paper towers instead of brown bags?
I have never tired doing this with paper towels. I believe using paper would work best :)

Yes, I could understand how the video progressed. Even leaving an iron on it, surprisingly, no wax transferred. I totally get and believe the video though.
Was the heat from the iron enough to melt the wax?
If the heat was enough to melt the wax, it’s possible that you may be using a type of paper that does not absorb wax. Not sure if that’s it, just thinking out loud here.

This actually worked for me. But I got to the stain 60 seconds after it happened.
It works, it just doesn’t get all the wax that seeps way down into the carpet. But it definitely works
