- Slim Thug (Jim), joins me on an awesome ride to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on the 2020 BMW S1000RR M edition and the 2019 Ducati Panigale V4 R... and yes, we engaged in some SMACKDOWN activity. During this trip I fell in love with the S1000RR's amazing gauges again, including the incredible turn by turn navigation system! The motorcycle was 'whispering sweet nothings' in to my ears!!! TPMS warning just means the pressure is outside the current setting. Super easy to fix. Just set the current pressure as the new set point and if the pressure deviates from it you will get another warning. Love both bikes.

Awesome video man. I wonder if the dry clutch plays into the error with the quick shifter/auto blipper. But electronic issues are usually just a software update and it's good to go. I just watched the MCN shootout, and am more impressed by the bmw.
Yeah, I think it's a software issue. Took it to the dealership today and they hooked it up to the computer and it check out clean. I will test it on Monday.
Those two bikes are one of the most beautiful bikes, I have known.. Ride Safe and keep riding..

Looks like that V4R is a force to be reckon with BUT for twice the cost I suppose it should be. Ducati for life :) Also, if you need any help with those mouse nests let me know

The v4 r has a lot of Space for tuning,its good to see how insanlly fast in Higher Speed the V4 r is.Much of All because revs in 6th up to 16500!!!!

Nice runs! Fair synopsis! I say the BMW needs down some teeth in the front! It kept up well for stock and can't forget the v4 has long teeth now a monster tune and better flow. Yet the BMW still hanged around. Can't wait for a modded synopsis on it (and a better seat).

Awesome video 650, two gorgeous rides, can't go wrong with either. The V4R is just so damn special. Word is that there is a M comfort seat that is coming soon. My GF has her order in for the 2020 S1Krr and they mentioned it at the dealership. So FYI.

I saw another video where someone had that same tire pressure warning on the BMW. There is a setting where you can turn it off. That's what they ended up doing.

All the new s1000rr have been having the tire pressure issue. You can turn it off in the settings. Thumbs up to help 650ib out

I would love to see a rematch with the full system and an ecu flash (whenever it's available) on that s1000rr.. I have a feeling it would be a lot closer
I have a feeling its gonna be a lot faster. This stock S1000rr makes what, 5 less HP with the full Euro 5 exhaust than the modified V4R (At least according to his dyno numbers)

Hey... I can't make it.
I think ceramic coating the mid pipes of the R would be a good mod. It would cut the heat down to nearly nothing. I have never inspected a V4R up close so I don’t know how much of the titanium exhaust is actually visible to look at. But the heat seems to be a major major issue. I have a friend with a 1098R, 998r, and a 999r. And he ceramic coated them all. They all have Termignoni full systems. I rode them all save for the 998r before and after. And the difference was incredible. It was pretty simple. Scorching before. Unnoticeable after.
I heard there’s a huge power lag from 4K-8K. 40-60% power reduction in that range. You notice that at all? Sounds like shift cam isn’t working that great.
Yes but it's only in 2nd gear. Brentuning will have a fix for it soon.

Let’s face it. The new BMW is perfect for the everyday experienced sport bike rider. But there’s something about the in your face no compromise in anyway Superbike! I have happily burnt my ass, and dreaded every street light on my beloved Ducati’s over the years...

I think his v4r isnt all tuned just just enough to run the exhaust system and air intake smooth but could still use a good tune to bring out the monster but the BMW is up there cant wait
The Tune on the v4 r is standart and by far not this what is possible with this Bike.Look on the SBK they can not do that much on the Engine and the v4 R has a Amazing Power in the SBK.The biggest Advantage of the v4 R is the Engine that revs 16500u/min
