Dehd is one of my favorite bands from back home in Chicago. Saw them at Coles bar opening for Paul Cherry back in the day. Incredible band, I encourage everyone to check out the song lucky and sunburn as well, they have so many great tracks

I don't usually click these, but I did this one and I'm glad. Great groove and energy, very interesting voices and harmony. But why is his guitar missing the high E string???
They performed on TV, maybe he didn't want to accidentally hit that string so removed it

I’ve heard the studio version over a hundred times and I had no idea it was a girl singing.
Emily has an amazing vocal range. The song Haha contains what appears to be a duet, but its actually Emily singing both parts several octaves apart.

Its more the fact that every single word in the English language has been used as a band name already; and in the digital age it doesn't matter if that was a tiny garage band unknown outside of a close circle of friends, they protect their name and threaten legal action as soon as another band with any digital presence forms. The days of there being two bands called Nirvanas are over.
But also in the digital age a Band name that is misspelt word is a lot easier to search for and find the band than a correctly spelt word. Googling even 'Dead band' would likely give a lot of false hits. Googling Dehd brings back Dehd and little else (DEutchland HD occasionally)
Its actually an acronym, sort of. Jason's band was Dream Eagles and Emily's was Heavy Dreams, their collaboration was called DEHD after each bands initials. Dehd was originally just a side project.

I assume you're just a casual music listener eh? Most likely used to the top of the charts generic music. But i'm genuinely curious what other singers you would compare the lead singer to? Her voice is strong and has great character (as vocalists will tell you). You should listen to some of the other songs. But again, curious what's so bad about the lead singer? Lol....
