Nice day of wade fishing. I use same technique when using live croaker. Continued success. Tight lines.
Very impressive stringer. Funny you almost sounded disappointed when you caught the red. Too bad it was gut hooked.
Well, when you get those big hits, If it was a trout, it would be huge. Not disappointed but definitely prefer a trout at that size.

ha! love the bait bucket paint job. I've never used the chatterweight before. I need to find some wade spots to take my daughter for redfish. She's good at catching trout, but needs to get hooked up on some flounder and redfish.

I'm from Florida and we have a 1 trout limit per vessel. The same laws are in Galveston. Are you a commercial fisherman? I hope so because we need to protect our precious fish so our children and grandchildren can enjoy this wonderful sport. But, good video.
I release 95% of the fish I catch. I talk about that often on this channel. I can count on one hand the amount of times I have kept fish in the last 2 years.

Hello TFF , Big Slot Red Runnin da Spool : Kool Man ,,, just like to say U kan get some Cals teflon grease or Reg Shimano Drag Teflon grease & a kit ( 2ea , 1big washer , & 1 smaller washer ) of Carbon Tex Drag Washers ( hard texture ) & replace old ones & Ur drag on dat DC will be Silky ,,,,,( ps - dey also make drag washers that r carbon but r soft ( i haven’t tried those yet ? )

Also, TFF , On those hard texture carbon drag washers u kan apply a dab of dat teflon grease or u kan go bone dry ,,, I like to dab a little of the teflon grease on both sides of both the big & smaller washers ,,,

Great catches. I use live bait with the kids. It is easier for them to use, but try to stick to the artificial paddle tails and such for the challenge.

They are Landers pliers. You gotta change out the cutters every once in awhile, but they hold up great.

@@TexasFishingForce Thanks bro I just limited out on flounder today, using Gulp glow in the dark shrimp, on Bolivar's intercoastal. My doughnut is falling apart. This is a back to back limit on flounder that I've haven't had in about 25 years. So I really need a new one.

I do let the big ones go. We let the 24 and 25 go in this video. The only reason I’d keep those is if they won’t survive on release.

How you like that liquid? I was close to driving to Katy to pick one up but settled on the Fishing Tackle Unlimited Pro series rod instead at 149.99
I honestly think the Liquid is the best production rod on the market for the price. I’ve used a lot but haven’t found anything that compares. I’ve heard good things about the FTU rods though, how do you like it?
@@TexasFishingForce ftu pro series is some serious bang for your buck.. limited out on specks on the groynes and the surf since i bought it. Also caught some nice blacktip pups on it in the surf on artificials.
