The story of Rachel moved me so much that I couldn’t stop crying. She was very loved. A true angel. What lovely parents you guys are.
Rachel was a lightning beacon of hope to so many Palestinians... A cause she gave her life for, making her voice eternal ❤️
She didn't give it. We'll she did through what she was doing, living for, but in this case, it was taken. 😢

An Al Jazeera journalist who was reporting from Al shifa has been beaten tortured and detained whilst reporting there, the IDF then collected their camera equipment and transmitter and crushed it under a bulldozer.

Elephants flipping turtles back on their stomach, stay with their loved ones in dire situations. Sacrifice themselfs for their young ones. You should read more and watch more documentaries.

When I first heard about Rachel Corrie I'll be honest.
I blew it off in a cynical way.
"oh now American's have a victim they can care about in Palestine. An attractive blonde woman ".
Because yes we were already jaded about the whole Israel-Palestine thing 20 years ago.
Then a few years later I hear that my friend had been in Palestine as well.
Instead of being crushed by a bulldozer, he was shot in the head with a tear gas canister.
His skull was fractured but he lived. However he suffered brain damage. The last couple of times I saw him he didnt even recognize me.
Well I suddenly felt very shallow and stupid.
Now I cared what happened in Palestine because they took one of my own.
Tristan isn't an attractive blonde woman. But he is one of the biggest hearted most generous people I ever met. To the point of naiveté.
I simply can't imagine or recall him ever saying or doing anything mean spirited or even sarcastic.
I understand he has recovered a lot but is still impaired, and that is what he got for having compassion where most people, like me, keep their cynicism.
