The intimidation factor on the Khans is so well pulled off
I'm glad the new PC is there for the newer episodes. the lag is real. but still very enjoyable to watch :)
seeing FD squad and garry do work is so nice! that last battle was down to the wire
yeah it's getting worse and worse. It hurts me to watch these xD
@@GetBrocked u need a powerful new sever as your own not this rented root server bullshit .. also i can recommend to use a mod that provides bigger Blocks for the Hull sections of the ships .. reducing the Block count helps a lot
Damn the first battle was brutally one sided and ended in a decisive KEK victory. And I applaud the ship at the end for attempting to take out the enemy FOB with a ramming attack. Might have been more effective had the ship been armed with warheads. CDF and Riders might want to try using that tactic against enemy FOBs in the future.
I think it will take the COA awhile to come to grips with the fact that this enemy will not just keel over. And until then, standard tactics will likely persist.
the first battle was a true unbalanced one. they had the equivalent of 3 frigs against a full KE squad. so they knew what they were into. and they fought to the end. about the warheads thing, i think it isn't allowed in the pvp rules.
Idea for ships too damaged for full repairs: Just repair the outside, mostly with light armour, then fill the inside with warheads. They use another ship (preferably a 1 man expendable ship just incase the light armour doesn't hold), and use it as a tug boat. Accelerate to 100m/s, then release the empty bomb ship at about 2km and jump out.
I see that the neutral ground got yoinked while Riders weren't looking
Given they're pretty much in an alliance and sharing all military resources I doubt they care. And they'll probably get a large piece of the KE pie if they win.
Okay I commented earlier that maybe a Battleship would have affected the outcome for the CDF? I take that back. Though they fought hard, they were doomed even with a battleship.
I can’t believe that rider vessel just try to Anakin them. Any other people who tried to surrender will now potentially be shot on sight
Edit: fixed typos
I know right. Gary gotta be the most cool looking ship, kuddos to the one who built it 💯💯💯
@@michaeljohn7275 my favourite looking ship (that isn't based on HALO) is def the Ravager. Something about 400mm*3 batteries all firing at the same time stacked on top of eachother that adds to that cool factor. Also love the armour design.
Some truly astounding stuff you are doing here, keep up the amazing content
thanks!
bish bash i hope this series gets an unexpected explosion of views in the next coming months bish bash
The name of this episode is reference to Stronghold Crusader 2 ? (cuz it came to my mind instantly)
As for the second battle the KEK strategy is no becoming more apparent. Split into 2 squadrons that can lend fire support to each other while a support vessel bring up the rear between the two squadrons which can bring fire upon which ever ship is unfortunate to get pinned between the two squadrons, this allows them to defeat the enemy in succession. The Riders and CDF need to develop tactics to counter this or more sectors will continue to fall.
yeah the KE have more than just this strategy. Due to their fluid command structure they come up with a lot of stuff on that mirrors real strategy.
Hammer/Anvil
Defeat in Detail
They even sorta crossed the T in one of the earlier unshown battles.
It's impressive, and the CDF/RR which have fought a mostly static war in S1 are likely going to need a crash course.
the main strength of KE is that everyone is free to act upon the situation, as all are welcome to put suggestions on the table. and during the heat of battle, we have people who are expected to call up some moves if they see chances appearing, or something disadvantageous happening.
that said, there's always a general course of action that's s expected to be followed, but everyone can do it's part the way they find to be best.
@@maverickr0x822 I have mentioned this before.
But the KE are actually a very bottom up leadership style, and a lot of trust is put in the individual pilots to make judgement calls.
I've seen many times when a pilot overrules a order from KE command because they know, they know their situation. And make a battle winning call.
You guys are a lot more like a soccer/basketball team working organically together vs a military style top down. It's really good. Though extremely hard to actually get established.
We'll see when (if) it holds together in a loss scenario.
the only thing that's most certain, is that even on defense, the KE won't play a really defensive game.
Is this a new faction? Could it be possible one day to have a recap of the different faction and their lore and objectives ?
from the viewer/character pov, we don't know much other than what was stated in episode 1 (yet)
However; if you want some extra stuff. The discord has a small faction card describing their backstory.
@@GetBrocked ooooh nice! How do we join?
@@ketsueko7498 there's a video on the channel (the main page one) on what to expect for joining the series.
For the discord only. It's linked in every video.
@@GetBrocked ok thanks !
I do not have the pretention to join (I'm not fluent enough for that) but if I do some ships based on a "fan faction" for the series, I could post some if there is an area for that!
Thanks for your responses 😊
Things not going to well for COA, maybe they shouldn't be so cocky in turning down help where its offered lol (Eternity) Good stuff.
:D that's what I thought. But they wanted to do it on their own
Riders: *Barely wins the finale confrontation, pretty much only because of the Eternities help (No way the Ravager could've solo'd the Leviathan)*
Also Riders, immediately after nearly having their admiral/supreme commander assassinated: We don't see those Eternity guys!
That was a pretty dumb decision by the Riders. False Surrender isn't a war crime because it's "unfair" its a war crime because now the Khan's have a good excuse to ignore anyone trying to surrender.
and it haunted them for not just this season, but the one after.
Those kind of moves stay with you
somthing that i thought of when watching this is that the pillar of autumn from halo ce is about 10 or more times bigger than the one seen here and to think this is big. not dissing on the eternity or anything
Space engineers tends to crash and die if we go much bigger sadly.
Yikes. Intense battles on the front lines
