- I think Retold Tale is slept on. By far one of the best shotguns in the game, great perks like quickdraw and snapshot make it extremely viable!

Got corkscrew, accurized, range MW, slideshot, and snapshot on my Retold. I've recently switched back to my CQC Shotty though because of the recent rework. Will probably try Retold again when I hop back on.

Exact roll except rifled Barrel instead of Corkscrew. It's the only pellet shotgun I enjoy using as I'm more of a Slug guy.

I think it still drops from dreaming city so I might try farming a little bit. Grasp is next week's featured dungeon so I'll farm ogre too
it still drops ..u can also farm blind well ...or wait for the rotation of the dungeon
got qd snap and accurized, smallbore and range on mine, it slaps

I'm a fan of Retold but always found the last column perks a bit lackluster. I don't value Snapshot that much on a shotgun yet it's the best pick on Retold. Maybe One-Two Punch for supers or killing a 2nd enemy full health with one melee after killing the 1st with all pellets hitting. For me that's where Compass Rose comes in. Last column has Trench Barrel which is just a better Swashbuckler in nearly every way. Just need a melee hit to activate, not a melee kill. Does 50% increased damage instead of 33%. Also gives 30 handling for a quicker stow speed. And lasts 0.5 sec longer as the cherry on top. Unfortunatly Solstice is a bitch when it comes to farming the weapons...
I definitely see what u mean with the last column on Retold Tale. The other perks u mentioned are also viable depending on ur play style. You bring up good points for sure. Compass Rose is also a fun one but like you mentioned, the Solstice event is lackluster unfortunately. Thanks for the thorough comment. 🔥
@@thesound_tv I really wish Bonfire Bash didn't drop armor at the end, just weapons. Especially because you can just buy armor from Eva and use the event silver currency to focus them in high stat armor making the armor that drops from Bonfire completely obsolete and an instant dismantle. Getting 3-5 weapons per run, with 3 weapons in the pool, actually makes the event feel rewarding and worth the players time investment. Sadly every Bonfire I do I end up getting all armor, if I'm lucky 1 weapon...
My ocd is killing me man use smallbore for 2 extra range ffs. QD gives you 100 handling no need for corkscrew

Matador is great too! I have 2 of them, I personally have been enjoying Retold Tale for the perk combo I mentioned but I agree, definitely farm it to have it 🔥

Can anybody tell me why this thing has less impact than other Precision Frames...?
It’s just a in-game visual thing. For whatever reason the impact is different compared to something like Matador but ALL precision frames have the same damage values. There’s several other weapons in the game where u may see this but within their “archetype” they hit for the same damage.

Compass Rose is up there with it imo. Both can essentially roll the same perks, Compass Rose is Solar which is different and the Origin Trait - Dream Work is a nice benefit all around. 🔥

It depends who u ask. It’s all about play style/preference and the tools each subclass brings. Arc Staff is definitely good but unfortunately the hit detection isn’t the best atm.
