an important question and I do not have that answer but I'll see if I can get it from Solis. The 10 year / 3500 charge cycles is pretty good but what happens then... stay tuned, may take me a week or so get an answer posted.
Do you know if this is the same as the solectrac or is it a totally different machine? Also, if you get a chance, please show details on the new C series solis? Thank you!
Totally different. Solectrac was purchased by Kubota and taken off the market. This is engineered by Solis. They did have a 48HP c tractor that is on the same platform as the 35HP but I didn’t capture much info on it. It has a Yanmar engine so the price point is quite high so I’m not positive it will make it to market unless they can get the cost down.
@@person86422 I agree. It will take time but the price will come down. Lots still to be figured out on these machines. I’m hoping to get this one in the next few months to do some testing. For now it’s headed somewhere warmer and flatter for some testing.
@@HardyBrothersOutdoors oh yeah, they will only get better. Please do some pulling and towing tests. Maybe a tug-of-war vs the regular 24 or another tractor. Definitely heavy brush hogging, maybe some stumps, I want to see that torque! Thank you
@@HardyBrothersOutdoors do you have any more information about Kubota and Solectrac? I've found information on them buying a stake in Escorts LTD, the manufacturer of the Solectrac, but nothing regarding any change in production or sales. Ideanomics seems the owner of Solectrac.

Great walkthrough. It’s so quiet. Looking forward to seeing it in action in the future.
You and me both! I think its gonna get some flat land trials before it heads to Ohio...
As a hobby farmer, this is what I’ve been looking for as I would be able to charge this with solar. Wish it was JD 1025R sized though…
It is similar to the size of the JD 1025R, slightly larger. Kinda more like the JD 2025R. Solar charging would be very cool too!
Any idea on battery replacement cost?

@@HardyBrothersOutdoors thank you for the info. I'm happy it's not a solectrac, I think compact electrics needs competition. Great video, thank you
