Apparently Prime, Gatorade and Powerade are different prices everywhere. Where I live Gatorade is $1 less than Prime.

They found a company that could work with what they wanted to do, and create the product, probably in exchange for a percentage of ownership. That doesn't mean that JJ and Logan don't say own the largest portion of shares.

All the influencers products are done this way. They get a celebrity as a face for the product since they have a huge audience especially with social media nowadays but an established company actually handles the business, the celebrity usually has a 25% ownership in the business. Like if lil baby would release lil baby chips but lays actually does all the business owns 75% and lil baby owns 25%

Logan Paul explicitly told that in a podcast, how the CEO of the parent company reached out to Logan and pitched KSI to him for a joint venture. I don't think they ever claimed to be the owners of PRIME.

That’s why it’s an LLC, it detaches their names from the company if they get into litigation.
That's not how LLC works. The owner's names still appear when you're doing a search for the business obviously. LLC just means that if the company was ever sued the owners don't have to be personally liable for the debts. In this case the owner is Max Clemons and he is the person that would be devoid of responsibility.
If LLC detaches their names from the company (which it does) then why do they need Max Clemons to show up as company owner? Your point makes no sense

This business principle is the same for liquor. Often celebrities will release “their own brand of liquor”. But I think the trick is people forget the word “brand” is a marketing term, aka its only purpose is to generate more revenue for the few distillers who actually supply all of these “brands”. Think Diddy and Ciroq, what does Diddy know about making vodka? Nothing he doesn’t have to, his job is to get you to buy the vodka. Conor and Jay Z, lil Wayne , Ross they all have “brands” and they use their influence to generate income for the manufacturers they work with. My issue is that they don’t like to disclose manufacturers which leads me to believe it’s all the same shit or owned by the same person in the end. 🤷🏾♂️

I've heard things like "Our brand" or "KSI's drink" by them and people in their circles... But that's not an explicit statement of ownership of the company, just some kind of ownership of the brand. And if they worked on ideating and promoting the drink in collaboration with a larger company, it seems reasonable for them to consider the drink to be "their work." They are owning the product in the sense that they contributed to it significantly and thus inherently contains some of their identity.
Being an athlete with your picture on a box of Wheaties is a different story. Presumably KSI and Logan had more actual input in the brand than simply having their likeness printed on the label for a few months.

They probably own large chunks and then had backing from Congo to help produce the product and control finances and such. It’s probably like an 47.5/47.5/5 percentage split with Congo with Logan and KSI being the biggest shares as they are the ones who invested their money into it. Or it may be a 40/40/20 or a 45/45/10 percentage split like that.

Max Clemons is technically the registered agent. The registered agent is the often the owner, but can also be the company lawyer. Registered agent mean the person who has to respond to a summons or lawsuit in court for the company.

LLC’s are interesting. They are operated by members or managers. KSI and Logan Paul can be members and elect a manager to run the company. The LLC can also be operated by other LLC’s or corporations. They both are very money savy and tax smart so I believe you would have a difficult time finding their names listed as complete owner of anything.

Yeah can literally tell everyone in the comments and the creator of the video is thick as shit. They’ll be in a joint venture and partnerships, both Logan and KSI wouldn’t touch this unless they had equity. Logan living in the PR and KSI in the U.K. means the company structure will be different to what is expected. There will be behind the scenes contracts tying each party.
Obviously they are in partnership with people who know what they’re doing in the space. That’s how you launch a product like this. Otherwise it would take years and millions to start your own drink, build supply chains, distribution etc.
Influencers focus on what they are good at which is marketing.
The point Logan and KSI are at in the careers they are not going to simply just market someone else’s product like this without having ownership.
