For me, I did exactly the Unsame of that, all of which to leadership, looting and packaging, as loots gives a ton of gold which i could use to hire more elites,.After that, once having like 500 Soldiers i started to conquer. But sadly i chosed a wrong opponent, which was the Byzantine and it collapsed😢

Build a big empire is much major problem for me since town, castle required to siege. But my choose is village. I let bandit enter my village conquer territory which good them for hideout or rest cause i wanna make them safe against the nation

you need a spear, horse, good amount of armor, and a one handed sword, a 2 handed weapon (inventory when not using horse) and makesure when fighting in a large land scape you should have a spear and a javelin, you can also fight the enemys that are 21 units in the mid game if you have good control on horses ik that cuz i did that once.

I dont make my own empire i join an one and then reales all my captivty so i gain respect and then i join a siege so i can find lords easier and then make them support me and bcs my respect is in max and all my lvls in charesma so all of the lords accept and gain more lords support until i bacome a warlord then i make the lords support me for being a king until i have inoghf right to the throne after it i bacome the king of the state i joined no need to fighting or making a war while u have only a one army but make sure that ur respect is maxed and have all lvls on charesma

I build a huge empire spamming from Vladimir to Rome but i had tough luck. It was very rough at the bigging... Also i was playing on hard mode. So i first destroyed the bandit army and was repeating the process till i get level 7 with the Bug and an elite army of a 100 man. Then i counquerd the pirate cities in the north of russia. After that norway with the help of england and then counquer some cities of russia like kazan vladimir novgorod and warsaw(yes i know warsaw is a polish city but by that time it was already couquered) and then i defeat 2800 romans with 1800 troops at the battle of elc and then i got rome dresden constantinopole bern and munchen. I have 1000 troops (personal) and im very proud of this run😊

First, I conquered Jin and Song empire with karakuma's support, then Delhi sultanate, Mongol empire, Indian dynasties with my large amount of Lords. After that, rus, holy Roman Empire, Poland, and Byzantine empire. Now, I use warsaw as my capital with 6570 elite army, my personal army contains 467 troops because I am already slow. And all in 5 months. Impressed

Bro i did all same i capture whole france and england and going to capture delhi sultanate but by mistake i killed indian dynastie army commander then they attack my castel and towns then I started to capture but then brytaniz Empire declared war then my Empire collapsed
I think you did need money In the late game, if you are rich then you can buy stronger armor and better equipment, so you can have skills point faster.

Formations
Use wedge formation for cavalry
Put spears and swordsman side by side and put archers right behind them
Also put horse/cavalry to the side
I always won with this formation, but you can use other Formations too

Well thats a way to do it, but its not the way of a conqueror 😂
For my strategy, i use the buy and selling process. So basically, you choose the blacksmith which gives you a bunch of swords and iron that you can sell for an extra money and do the trading. So if i sell those extra equipment, i woould probably get up to 50k which is enough for the method im using. First step, i bought all boots, then sell the least expensive one, and sell the remaining ones. Its simple! But the it depends on what type of equipment are you gonna use for this one so heres the pricing!
Shields-20k/30k
Boots-50k
Weapons-100k/110k
Ranged weapons-100k/150k
Helmet-200k/270k
Armour-500k
Siege weapons(It depends)-400k/500k
There is one more way to earn a lot of money, that is raising cows😁😅

I once made an empire from all france and england and sultinant of rum and ayobed and whwn i was fighting ayobed the bezantem and the russian and the indian made qar whith me so i was like at war vs all empires in the game bcs those was the only empires left so i deleated the save and made a new one 😂

Your way of playing is too strenuous. It took me 2 days to conquer the world on the highest difficulty. It would take at least two years to play on the highest difficulty according to your method.😅
