Nice job! I built a similar-sized layout, a modified John Allen switching puzzle, and mounted it on the wall in my home office. 10”x72”. Simple DC, but for me, the fun is in the detail. Looking forward to future episodes!

Your benchwork looks meticulous, and underneath, your organization of the twisted cables, and wiring clamps is very neat and tidy. So, as I am planning my first layout, I appreciate this video. And thanks to you, I now know about Tillig switches / turnouts. They are beautiful, and look prototypical. * subscribed *
Question: Where did you find that wall-mounted storage box for your locomotives?

Bravo on Reynauld's Euro Imports - ran into them at a train show in St. Louis in 1992 - I have been buying from them since. Now you need to be hit by the Marklin / Roco / Fleischmann / Brawa bug!!!!

I'm new to your channel, thanks to UA-cam's algorithm. That was a great video. My only "complaint" is that I cannot turn on notifications because of the channel being "safe for kids" - apparently the current generation is equipped with mental telepathy that allows them to sense when new videos are uploaded. Whereas Generation X'ers like myself need alerts, reminders, and beacons to remember everything. 🤣
BTW, I love what you did to those little Bachmann switchers! ❤

lol. I want all to be notified. I will look into it. I didn’t know and will change the setting if I can.

@@wallysmodelrailroading When you upload to UA-cam and are editing the Video description and title, there is a setting down the page near the bottom which gives you the option to not make the video child friendly.

@@ajkleipassthanks I thought I changed that setting since this video was posted.

@@westernstatesrailroading yes I have been doing that lately, but didn’t do it on this video. I wonder if I can go back into settings and change it.

PLEASE... get yourself a lavalier microphone! The video is great but your audio tends to fade off and it is hard to hear you all the time. I relly think you are doing great, just fix the audio!
Can't wait to see your next installment.🙂
