- How I care for my Spring, Summer, and Monsoon Flowering bulbs💡
🌿 Prune all the leaves
🌿 Repot root bound plants
🌿 Prune the roots if necessary. I do this specially for Crinum Lily bulbs
🌿 Separate baby bulbs attached to the main bulb. (NOT for football lily)
🌿 Store the bulbs and plants them before their blooming season starts
🌿 Amaryllis - sow during Jan end
🌿 Football lily - sow them anytime during May
I mainly remove the Amaryllis and Football lily bulbs because I need the pots for other plants! If the bulbs remain in the pots I'll end up watering them along with my other plants too which I don't want to. You can also leave them in the pots and not water them and let it dry out naturally. Towards the end of January or whenever it is the flowering season in your location, you start watering them. - Навчання та стиль

Why you dont wait the leaves to be fully brown before cutting it to put in dormancy? It needs its leaves to store energy.

I haven't take out the bulbs in winter , it's in my pot for 4years . There is no flower . This is march. What should I do ? Let them grow as it is or take out the bulb and dry them?
Take them out and repot, separate the pups, trim the roots, let there be space in the pot

@@Bulanvie which state in India? If it's a hill station there is chance that it may bloom. Amaryllis need a period of dormancy to bloom. Now that it's summer I am not sure. See for yourself. That's the only way to learn.

Flowering month is March-April
In 2023 they bloomed from Jan till May. One even bloomed in Nov and December! It depends on how much dormancy they can get. (Cold period)
