British rocker Elton John made this famous in 1983 and stated that it was “my reaction to still being relevant and successful in the early 1980s.” The message rings just as clear today with rock and roll still ruling the music scene, generation after generation. Instrumental parts available for a powerhouse performance.

@@Cat-dm1zs omg we were basically on the same note the entire time, elton john is my favourite artist so i was rlly upset we got such an awful part LMAO
this is one of our show choir songs
LOL, ah those 1st Soprano cue notes. I don't know why they even bother with making them cue notes. I'm trying to remember the last time a choral director has the guts to tell those 1st Sopranos that he didn't want them to sing those cue notes. That just never happens. 😁
In my chorus spring concert were singing this, Wannabe by spice girls, Bohemian Rhapsody and some others
Lucky
Where’s the strings😢

The Rocketman musical sounds lit
I hate the way they changed the cadence of the verses in this song. For someone who loves the original, it makes it extremely hard to unlearn the song the way you already learned it and then relearn it in a much less pleasing way.
I think this has something to do with copyright or sth. Our teacher explained it to us when we first noticed, but we are singing it the way it was originally written

Bar 15 and some timings on the second verse are terrible (e.g. "taste of love") but rest is ok :)
This song deserves a slapped bass
