changing the barrel makes sense, the MG3 has a stupidly high rate of fire, and it's better to change the barrel when possible than to hope it fails at a decisive moment

I was laughing so hard that my neighbors came over with my mom to see if something was wrong because they heard a loud noise from my room but could not tell it was laughter. I told them I was laughing so hard because a group of Japanese guys were wearing white face while running down a hallway like Disney villains and getting hit by bullets in the wrong order according to physics. After showing them the hallway part they also started laughing hysterically. That guy's face...that smile the whole time he's running down the hall like a Disney villain only made it 200% funnier.

I just saw this film last night. Can somebody explain how Inuit was able to withstand a barrage of bullets from 4 men and not get a scratch, but somehow a pistol is able to penetrate is armour when grappling with the last guy? It honestly makes no sense, and just makes the ending seem forced.

Well they did have a 7 to 1 kill ratio which is pretty badass. Makes me wonder HOW GOOD is Japan's (Or whatever Nation of this Book/Anime/Movie is set in) economy so that not only their Elite LE forces can have top quality Armor and Gear, use MG42s/MG3s as their Main Service gun, but the other "Supposedly" not Elite LE branch can arm themselves with FRENCH FAMAS (First Generation designs even) Assault rifles, infamous not just for their 1000 RPM RoF, but the need for CUSTOM CARTRIDGES as well (G1 FAMAS RoF and ejection mechanisms mandated Steel cartridges because Brass ones would be SHREDDED during ejection, leaving some of it inside the gun). The Wolf Briggade uses MG42s/MG3s, that spew 900-1200 RPM, and given that each trooper most likely would have to be issued 3 spare barrels alongside a full ammo load, the dakka plus cost of keeping stockpiles of spare parts would be a nightmare. And then we get to the FAMAS, with their own ammo supply requisitions (Again, anything less than Steel for the cartridge material would damage and likely jam the gun due to the RoF and Ejection mechanism) as well having 1000 RPM means an awful lot of ammo spenditure

The Axis powers ended up winning the war when Germany developed a new kind of Body Armor, which as you can see, was pretty damn effective. After that once Europe capitulated the Asian nations were next on the chopping block which led to their occupation. Violent rioting was a major issue which led to the formation of the Kerberos Panzer Cops who were equipped with the new Body Armor used by the German military in order to crack down on these resistance groups, and you can see the effectiveness for yourself.

@@catmillyy ah yes the prewar and ww2 era spanish helmets that were at first copy of the M16 and M18 Stahlhelm then the M34 Eiber that is simmilar to the end ww1 firefighter stahhelm, not te fancy one with the mowhawk and extra neck protection. than there is the M1926 helmet that has the neck protection but without the extra leather layer ontop like the firefighter version. or the modelo Z/M1942 that was a direct license production of the M40 (M36) stahlhelm of the germans. it can very well be that the propmakers took inspiration from the spanish ones too they have all creative liabaty, but that they were anything from a homage to a direct copy, wich is not bad in any way, from the german stahlhelm versions since ww1 to ww2. And it don´t help either that it just looks likethe kerberus units either use the M18 version like the kerberus panzer jäger or the M42 version. as the rest of the offical media about it protrai and state it. and the helmet they use in red spectecals looks exactly like a diffrently painted m42 replica

What the hell is this bit at 6:00? Where they trying to do some sort of crossing swords thing where they pass by each other like in a samurai movie? This is sequence is like the most silly thing out of the whole bunch in my opinion.
It's a weird part of the Director's style. He likes to reference the comedy directors that inspired him, but it's definitely out of place. The Red Spectacles which is the first movie of the trilogy (last canonically) was 90% of that stuff

If I remember correctly the movie takes place well after the Kerberos uprising, meaning the weapon and armor are scavenged, which if I'm not mistaken explains why the armor has mismatched numbers on its pieces and why the barrel had to be swapped.

It's a weird part of the Director's style. He likes to reference the comedy directors that inspired him, but it's definitely out of place. The Red Spectacles which is the first movie of the trilogy (last canonically) was 90% of that stuff
