Thank you, I have wanted a tagine because I love braised type dishes. I pray you persevere, I have noticed even beloved chef john from food wishes is low on views of late and I worry many youtubers starve in this environment 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks, I received a really beautiful tagine for my birthday, (interestingly, made in Ukraine) and lost the seasoning instructions. Keen to try some of your recipes soon.
Hi i already soaked my glazed tagine for 2 hours then oiled and put it oven i don’t think i soaked it long enough can i do the whole process again as I didn’t know i had to soak it overnight i await your answer thanks
You can always soak it again - in fact it’s good practice to do throughout the life of the tagine. The clay becomes dry and brittle over time and soaking it periodically can increase the life of your tagine. It may not be necessary to reseason your tagine entirely but it certainly will not hurt it.
@@msmith985We sell authentic Moroccan tagines that are handmade in Morocco on bsahashop.com - if you’re looking for something less traditional, I believe Sur La Table has a clay option that’s a little more lightweight that’s made in Portugal. And, if you really want to invest in a high end piece of cookware - Le Creuset sells beautiful cast iron taglines.

Hi David, Where did you get that heat distribution plate you placed under the Tagine? please. Thanks
Can you use it on an electric glass stovetop? Or can it only be used on gas stovetop?
Well done excellent method👌👍
Hi, where did you get this heat distribution plate? Will the tagine crack if i cook it on direct firetop stove with this type of plate? Thank you!
You should use a plate, yes. You can buy them at most cooking supply stores

Where can you buy a good quality Tagine. I purchased one years ago at World Market. Not sure they still have them and if they are good quality.
