Best voice since Jodie Benson, in my opinion. She's live, too! I mean, seriously, put her in the next Disney Princess flick and she'd need virtually zero editing for the tracks she records.
+ctn04132 On the contrary my friend. Laura did audition for the replacement. She simultaneously auditioned for Nellie in South Pacific. The day after she received a notice from Disney the role of Ariel was booked by another actress (One that should have never been near it!) she got the call from producers at the Vivain Beaumont theatre she would replace Kelli OHara. Whether or not she had heard of the negative reviews from critics prior is a mystery. What I do know is Laura has adored the character of Ariel and would have been over the moon to have played her on Broadway. And Bonnie and Clyde (despite a Tony Award nomination for herself and Best New Score) was panned by critics and flopped at the box office. Laura's love for the show hasn't dampened. Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella revival was met with mostly mixed reviews. And some called her second Tony nom a fluke. Yet her devoted fans and the occasional critic had lovely things to say about her performance. Maybe if Laura had portrayed Ariel, people would have seen the show in a new light. Laura made Ella far less cartoonish and that of a real young woman struggling with self-identity. Perhaps more people would have seen Ariel in that light if Laura has been cast. I cite her as a genuine actress who turns the notion of typical ingenue on it's head. :)
SHE'S AN ACTUAL PRINCESS
That voice....God....she's a princess!!! :)
Love the song and Laura has the most perfect “Princess” voice.. magical
That's the kind of voice people used to write entire shows around.
That was FLAWLESS F L A W L E S S
Ariel, Cinderella, Belle, she could be almost any Disney Princess!!!!
Soooo Beautiful! Laura Osnes is beautiful along with her beautiful voice!
I could watch videos of her ALL DAY. I'm not saying I have before, but I could. (I have, I definitely have.)
She has a magical presence, oh so endearing ❤🥰
Ok someone cast her as Ariel right now
live action the little mermaid??? disney seems to be doing live actions now. Beauty and the Beast coming soon, Tarzan also
Yes!!!!!!!!
@Blair Bart II You're pathetic. Ariel is a 16 years old girl, Laura is 34 years. Halle is 19, and sings as well as Laura.
Stop being such a racist.
Laura you are so beautiful with a beautiful voice love you on Hallmark movies
What a flawless voice. Can't believe that was live. Let me write you a song! ❤️

I still don't know how to use reprimand in a sentence.
Why didn't Laura get to be Ariel after Sierra left the show-I heard that she might have auditioned for it, but I don't know why she not get the part?
Well I still like TLM
+71crm I believe I saw an interview where Laura said that she did audition to replace Sierra and was very close, but didn't get the role.
ctn04132 I love Laura and think she would've been PERFECT, but that's what I heard.
