Cool stuff man. Hey, I gotta little constructive criticism for ya, something that would make your life easier:
At 2:07, the operator flies you over to the place where you want to tie on a spider leg, and you are trying to wrangle those four long, heavy spider legs. Next time, I would ask the crane operator to cable up, and when the spider legs become a more manageable, comfortable length, you can just descend down to the spot you want to tie off the piece. Also: Try using a cow hitch instead of a bowline on a bight. The Cow Hitch cinches nicely, it's relatively easy to adjust the tension if you need to fine tune the balance of a piece.
    Work safe bud! Good work

Also looks like those spider legs could've been tied out further - the piece was a little tip heavy. You can see the slack in the butt-end spider leg and by the way the piece hangs when the crane takes it.

Wyatt Spruck I was the guy in the bucket for this part of the job. He worked so close to the ball to keep the piece balanced. Appreciate the feedback though. Since this video we have both moved on. He is in a management position with a different tree company and I finally got my break into the corporate IT world.

Dustin - I am a 25 year arborist, and I've watched a thousand UA-cam videos on tree work; Any guess as to why I made sure to click on this one? Hint: it has something to do with the thumbnail...😉

Because anybody with an F-4 tattooed on his arm is a good man in my book. 😉 ....(Grandfather?)

Samuel Luria ooooh ok haha. That is why I was confused. That isn't my arm. I am in the bucket. I was a Marine though which definitely added to the confusion because I didn't understand how you could tell. Idk about his tattoo though.

That is incredibly reckless and dangerous. you trust a crane operator with your life? serious. You guys are the reason the WCB is so high in our field.
