- 7.3L power stroke. Replacing the injector weather pack connectors on the 7.3L Powerstroke due to dry and cracked wiring, corrosion, and weak electrical signal. I put links below for the replacement connectors, solder splice connectors, and the LED work light I'm using.

Nice work on the harness dude 💪🏼
Glad you like it
spot on work. 👍
Thank you 🙏
If I were to wire the two brown outer wires on each side backwards or switching them to each other side, would that give me starting issues? Or running issues?
Why would you wire them backwards or switch sides? Otherwise idk without a wiring schematic off the top of my head.
Nice work hey did the 2018 seats fit to the the studs on the floor or did you have to put new studs
Oh I wish it were that easy, neither I spent 19hrs on the front seat mounting brackets, and a little under 7 on the rear. I had to fabricate the seat brackets to get them to sit correctly and center. But so worth it along with all the dynomat.
Two of my plugs are burnt up and melted. They are both melted on the same side. Closest to the fan. By chance you know what that controls? Truck runs great.
I’d prob need to see a pic bud. Could be the number of sensors sending units etc.
Is there a way to remove the cover for the plug? My sons truck has one terminal that broke off inside the connector going to the injector harness
Yes, it’s a specialty electrical pin tool to remove just the pins if you look it up online and set an idea where the release is you can use a straightened paper clip or a sewing needle.
What are those connectors called and where can i get them?
There is a link in the description below that will take you right to them on Amazon.
Have a quick question, by chance do you have a diagram or video of the injector plugs ? Im trying to fig out which is power vs ground ect. I have a no start condition and trying to rule out power and ground issues for a 1994.5 7.3
Most common no start is the crank position sensor on a 7.3L I would start there. ESP if it hasn’t run in a bit, secondly make sure the injector oil reservoir is full of engine oil again if it hasn’t run in a bit.
I’ll check for a diagram, I do have the service manuals for this truck in a box somewhere.
Lastly Ive gotten plenty of CPS new that are no good over the last few years.
@JWsGarage the truck has new cps, hpop turbo, injectors, under valve cover harnesses, complete exhaust, fuel pump/ pickup pump, many other parts. I'm just no good with wiring. The truck ran and drove great it had a tune and one day it was like I disconnected the tune it had half the power so I pulled over shut it off it never started again. I've done all this work since then.
@johncoulter2321 did you test the IPR to ensure it’s working? Also make sure that front oil reservoir on the engine is full otherwise it will never start.
The reservoir is full. It's getting fuel to the filter I feel like it's something to do with injectors nor being powered but idk what's supposed to have power or grounds, the valve cover harness center pin has 5 volts the other pins have nothing. Can you pm me ?
@johncoulter2321 sorry sir diesel is far from my expertise I couldn’t tell ya where to begin past the few major items. There is a IDM injector drive module on the drivers side inner fender well they are known to fail over time. C5
My harness wires are shielded is there anything specific to worry about when splicing new ends on? I'm new to 7.3 wiring
Can you send a pic to my Instagram ?
@@JWsGarage yeah this weekend, it's a 97 f350 the wires have a silver shield with a strand of stainless wire in the bundle
@@garywilliamson480 the foil is a heat reflector and the stainless strand is to shape the harness and hold its form.
@@JWsGarage Thank you so much, I'm trying to get a new harness from Navistar they have the part number to match up with mine
@@garywilliamson480 any time 👍👍
