Yes, wish would have. But, I can honestly say My partner and I have seen her 7 times in our lives. We have traveled to see her.. She never disappointed. Laurie Anderson has been an integral part of our lives. Shes a genius. What more can you say. She belongs in a " hall of fame" of her own. No one else compares
meredith monk, pamela z, and diamanda galas are all artists in the same orbit. youd love them if you dont already know them. these 4 women are my favorite electronic composers and performers of all time
I can relate, and feel the same myself, and that goes for a few of my friends as well, she's an integral part of our lives and I for one, agree on every accolade!! 🎉😊🥰😍🤩🥳
Thank you for posting this, Lauries Heart of a dog helped me enorously after the death of my mother, Loved her work since O superman. Love & light to all her fans.
Thank you for posting this! I was fortunate to attend the world premier of United States 1-4 at BAM. It was a two night performance that changed my life. This woman is a national treasure.
This reminds me of her performance at the Dominion Theatre, it must’ve been around the same time as this. That show had projected images in the background whilst Laurie performed.

interesting how the performance ends - first with a "traditionally beautiful" song 1:29:10 , as if to appease a potentially alienated audience - but in the ending on the most freakish note with the pillow speaker as if to make the avantgarde savvy folks go ?!?!?wtf 1:36:00 - gotta love the Anderson :D

Hello. Do you know if the full text of this show was published anywhere (book, whatever...) ?

feels so prescient - in 1997 the world did not seem so dark to me... "speed of darkness" seems to describe the past 5+ years so well
IMHO the greatest living artist
I genuinely think she just has the best voice I have ever heard.
This woman is so phenomenal and to be able to stand there playing her incredible instruments and recall all her poetry without a glitch. Amazing
Thank you for posting this, Lauries Heart of a dog helped me enorously after the death of my mother, Loved her work since O superman. Love & light to all her fans.
Amaizing...she is so powerful...❤❤🎉

Wow! This is an amazing concert! Thank you Laurie and crew, and Ken for putting it up for us to find.

She moves my ID, tickles my Ego and stimulates sublation of my Superego.
Thank you for this! The bit about Star Trek/Moby Dick has haunted me since I originally saw this show
One of the few shows of hers I haven't seen live. Thank you so much!
THANK YOU!!!! The only thing I can't get enough of is watching her perform. ❤❤❤

She came up with the Web based Master Class before Master Class existed.
