He could have made the outer limb/blades separately bolted into the central riser, and the central 'daggers' out of bendable carbon fibre attached to outer blades with strings. Would have made an awesome looking and fully functional lever-action bow that works like an Oneida Kestrel.

I don't think it's actually functional as a bow more of a decoration. Solid aluminum doesn't flex and snap back so there wouldn't be any power it would most likely just bend.

@@billyjoecooper6770 because cast aluminium doesn't have enough flex to be able to draw far enough to fire arrows. special aluminium alloys can be stronger but still isn't the ideal metal for bending and springiness, it's main quality is being light and quite strong in comparison to its weight. Awesome video but why don't you by like a hand tamper that's meant for the garden and cut the handle short that way you wouldn't have to worry about using your Hammer I know you're probably used to it but it would spread it out and you would get quicker results
I feel if you are only wanting to make replica prop straight from the game its fine. The whole design would have to be changed to make it functional, and pretty much all details of it like the odd spikes are just for the looks. It would be really impractical design as actual bow

Since it won’t curve on the pull, put some spring loaded pulleys cams, or resistance cams, you have the software to design it.

It's just a cast prop, cast aluminium wouldn't have enough flex to function as a bow, it'd just fracture with enough stress.

Most casting sand that is used to make sand molds is called green sand and it is 10% clay and 90% sand I believe
