The Jaguars delivered an upset victory over the Colts at home, continuing a 10-year streak. Trevor Lawrence had an outstanding offensive performance, while Joe Flacco and Alec Pierce struggled to rally the Colts until the latter part of the fourth quarter. The question arises whether Gus Bradley's position should be in jeopardy.

Lol we beat Williams and Fields lol. The defensive players didn't wake up and realize they were playing real ball until the second half of week 2 or 3. That will cost you games then injury hits cripple you when you haven't played together, practiced together, or understood your teammates method of communication. Gus does need to set down and have some hard convos but be assured it hasn't been all him.

@@thecoltscast some of us have wanted him fired after every game even the wins the last two weeks. We didn't beat the Bears and Steelers because of Gus's defense we won in spite of Gus's defense. I have been beating the drum for Ballard to be fired all season/off season because in my opinion the issues start with him. He has consistently refused to address areas of need during his tenure. This defense has gotten worse ever year since Gus took over and that is a fact yet we keep trying to do the same thing an expecting different results. Ballard knew who this defense is and yet chose to run it back with the same players, same coach and same scheme but expected different results.

Colts season is pretty much done if Kenny Moore can't stay healthy and Kwitty doesn't come back soon... if the Colts can stay at 500 until Buckner gets back, we'll have a chance...if that doesn't happen the only thing that matters this season is the development of Richardson... I'm happy that Pierce is finally making big plays... people were acting like he should be released... Mitchell needs to take one big hit, for he can see that he can take it and get back up... Ballard needs to attack the CB position early in next years draft... he won't sign any FAs, so he's gonna have to take 2 DBs the first 3 rounds.. I think we have the talent on D-line to wreck teams if healthy... I like Franklin and Speed, but we need a game wrecker at LB... they make tackles, but they don't make game-changing plays... we have a good D-line average LBs bad CBs and pretty good safeties... I do like what ive been seeing out of Jones ... they need to let him play more press coverage...Bradley has to go! even when healthy we give up to many passing yards... I tried to tell everyone that the Ebukam loss was huge and I got laughed at... now with all the the injuries it would be nice to have our leader in sacks , pressures and QB hits right now. .. people were acting like latu was gonna come in and get 13 sacks... latu is a good player and might be great one day but he's still a rookie... the Colts just need to get healthy stay at 500 or a game above until the D-line can get healthy... the back half of the schedule isn't that hard and if the Colts can get hot they'll have a chance to sneak into the playoffs... nobody in the AFC has been dominant except KC...

Yeah the coaching staff needs to have a serious talk with AD Mitchell. Every game he is pulling off of routes when he sees a defender coming. I mean Every Game he is doing it. Last year I thought we were finally going to be getting some accountability on this team when Steichen started, when that one RB fumbled twice in a game and got cut the next day (Jackson I think?). At a bare minimum Mitchell needs to be benched some games, MINIMUM. And let him know he will be cut if he keeps that garbage up.

Yeah I’m not happy with Gus either, but it’s tough with all these injuries. I’m okay with Gus getting fired, but we can’t just always blame him after a loss!

All I know is Pierce and Downs are the best 2 WRs on the team in my opinion... this game was over because of all the injuries... I think flacco was going to Downs early then went away from him... I was yelling at the TV for him to throw it deep to Pierce... Colts had no run game, so the Jags could just attack a non mobile QB... everyone was acting like Mitchell was going to replace Pierce can now shut up...

But Pierce wasn't open first half. this jags team came to stop AR. First qtr and half they played the deep lass and stopped the run gave us middle field where AR weakness is. The jags adjusted to Flacco and it took our coaches 2 qtrs to adjust. I don't understand why Steichen insists throwing ball to a rb behind line of scrimage. We know flacco slow adjust for him.
He was open he was just playing safe... had we had AR and JT, we would've cooked the Jags...

@thecoltscast yea even at cycling we still don't use them like we should, I mean what they get 2 targets a game if even. They want AR to succeed they gonna have to give him a guy. Someone to look for. We use TE as blockers.

When the Jags played the Bills the Bills had a ton of injuries on the defensive side of the ball and STILL cooked them, I get that we had injuries I get it but that’s no excuse for them to play that poorly man, and even before we had all those injuries our defense was not playing good, its no excuse, that jags team is TERRIBLE Untill today only 15 points and Trevor was on path of having his worst season, man that was piss poor play today, there was NOOOOOOO pressure AT ALL on Lawrence NONE WHATSOEVER!!! That’s unacceptable, people always talking that “next man up” bs but when they look like trash now it’s “ we had to many injuries” 😴😴 … we were missing defensive players when we played the Steelers and STILL GOT THE DUB but when we play a 0-4 Jacksonville team NOW it’s “we had too many injuries” bruh this team is TRASH! The two worst pass defenses in the NFL got together for a free for all. So regarding Flacco there is that. We lost to a bad Jaguars team who was 0-4 and we still can't win in Jacksonville. Yeah forget playoffs. No way with this defense. Starters or backups or what. I signed up for a rough season with Richardson learning but I cannot forgive this defense. Where is that like button....boom...fire Gus. Ballard what was that statement again...'We are OK and we are going with what we got.' Yeah OK Chris.
