I am also from Trinidad, (the twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago) and had the privilege to visit Medjugore in 2018 with my son and my husband, who passed away in 2021. We weren't on pilgrimage as we had really been on vacation in Croatia with family who, upon our arrival, gifted us with a surprise visit to Medjugore. It's the most peaceful place I have ever visited and like my sister in Christ, I have travelled to other parts of the world. I felt like I was in heaven and so at peace in Medgugore that I didn't want to return to my homeland. There is just an aura about/to the place which is indescribable.

Thank God for His intervention and Mercy has paid the price in full for our sin by coming in humility, his 1st bed was a dirty feeding trough among (cockroaches, mice... feeding on scraps), spent his entire youth as a refugee hiding from a death sentence by the world's most powerful army, lived a perfect sinless Life, healed the sick, rose the dead...yet was beaten so badly that he could not be recognized as a human then made to carry the cross and nailed through the median nerves of each hand and through his feet, hung by these nails during which Time, He to take a breath, he had to push against the excruciating nerve pain of His body weight on the nails to be able to expand his lungs.
Despite all this, His love was so great that He Forgave them for doing that.
He gave up his Spirit/Life and conquered death by resurrection on the 3rd day. Was seen and met with thousands of people who also saw Him ascend into Heaven.
At the moment His Spirit Departed from His Body a number of witnessed, Documented and scientifically proven miracles happened: The sun stopped shining for 3 hours (NASA confirms), There was a massive earthquake destroying several buildings and cracked the base hole holding up His Cross allowing His Blood and Water , from when they Pierced the spear through the pericardial effusion and into His Heart ❤️. His Blood and Water ran down His Body, along the cross, through the crack in the hole and onto the Ark of The Covenant which was hidden in a sealed off cavern. The inch thick curtain that separated the congregation from The Holy of Holies was miraculously torn from top to bottom...
It was custom for the soldiers to break the legs to expedite the death, by so they would not be able to breathe. But to fulfill prophecy that not a single one of His bones shall be broken. He gave up His Spirit/life. So they pierced Him as foretold hundreds of years before.
These facts are documented by many eye witnesses, secular historians and the 4 Gospels: Mathew, Mark, Luke and John.
Did you know that Jesus Christ was crucified with a Crown of Thorns rammed through His Scalp, into His Skull on the very same hill that Abraham was Given a 🐏 Ram with it's head Stuck in the Thorn Bush to prevent him from sacrificing his willing teenage son?

Do you know why these miracles happened when He Gave Up The Ghost?
To show that He can continue to sustain life despite the sun not shining for 3 hours as He is The Light.

You'll find just about every race under the sun in Trinidad & Tobago. _Very_ mixed and diverse population. Majority you'll find are of African descent (due to the slave trade during colonial times), many East Indians, some Spanish, French, Portuguese, Lebanese, and Chinese, and numerous combinations thereof.
