Yeah, IGN showed a map of the complet game, it has 3 sections: Snow woodlands and mountains, a desert/canyon to the left and a jungle. But let's just say that a bigger map doesn't mean better content, let's remember Metal Gear Solid V.
Crash Gaming yeah but I only saw 1 map and it's just the one big zone when you zoom out the whole thing kinda looks like skyrim map in terms of shape. But that's the only map. The one map has multiple bioms like forests, canyons, and a winter area. It's all one map. Not multiple maps
I've seen on different channels and trailers that the clouds cover the maps and you unlock them (like in Far Cry). I have a feeling that this world map's going to be bigger than Velen....hopefully!

This is one of the games where I knew from the first trailer that I was going to get it. Learning more about it just makes me glad that it seems like it will be an awesome game.

just a few corrections....the Braves and Nora aren't two different tribes...the Braves are the warrior type of the Nora tribe, and also, I'm only like 30% through the game, but there aren't any swords that I've seen, Aloy uses a spear to stab and slash with for melee
Aside from the bit about no season pass/Micro transactions I'm not sure why any of that was "Need to Know" before purchasing? You can open up the map with longnecks, you can get swords (did he mean spears?), you can interact with other tribes/lodges. Yeah why is any of that information pertinent to know before purchasing...basically I'm saying the title of this video is not accurate. :)

You say Braves is a tribe but that is not true you can become a brave in the race of the Nora, a brave is someone that hunts for the tribe and protects the tribe, like soldiers. but they're just Nora.
I love the multiple biomes and terrains that isn't all too common in open world games. And oh how awesome it would be if we could override those bird like creatures and use them to fly across the world Gandalf the Gray style like the eagles in Lord of the Rings. I would lose my shit and I hope that we will be able to do that. Either way I'm so ready for this game.

all you need to know is if you are someone who actually goes outside to touch the grass HZD is way less taxing! vs lets say the witcher 3 you won't die over and over and over again with random encounters to the point where you either quit or use mods to balance that stuff out, also if you want good lore, a decent storyline that keeps you engaged without losing the plot of the real story behind the actual story, and most of all some FUN! after a hard days work HZD is for you! trust me if you are a busy person like myself the witcher 3 is way too in-depth to commit yourself fully! it is amazing no doubt but it's very taxing and the majority of casual gamers ain't got the time for that IMO. simple skill tree simple menus, not 10000000000000 herbs and oils

Aloy is Nora. Braves are just protectors in the Nora tribe, more of a class than a tribe all their own.

You say Braves is a tribe but that is not true you can become a brave in the race of the Nora, a brave is someone that hunts for the tribe and protects the tribe, like soldiers.
but they're just Nora.

I love the multiple biomes and terrains that isn't all too common in open world games. And oh how awesome it would be if we could override those bird like creatures and use them to fly across the world Gandalf the Gray style like the eagles in Lord of the Rings. I would lose my shit and I hope that we will be able to do that. Either way I'm so ready for this game.

graphics never really are THAT important to me, which is probably why i wasn't THAT disappointed with the division with its clear down grade in graphics from the first E3 trailer. cause to me it was still one of the best looking games on the ps4 to this day.
but i am hoping im not gonna hear that to appreciate the game fully i'd need a ps4 pro so hopefully my good ol ps4 can do the job lol

Wait a minute... So all those "Horizon Zero Dawn Map Leaks: Is HUMONGOUS" clickbait articles were wrong and the whole game is just about half the size of the main Witcher 3 map?
all you need to know is if you are someone who actually goes outside to touch the grass HZD is way less taxing! vs lets say the witcher 3 you won't die over and over and over again with random encounters to the point where you either quit or use mods to balance that stuff out, also if you want good lore, a decent storyline that keeps you engaged without losing the plot of the real story behind the actual story, and most of all some FUN! after a hard days work HZD is for you! trust me if you are a busy person like myself the witcher 3 is way too in-depth to commit yourself fully! it is amazing no doubt but it's very taxing and the majority of casual gamers ain't got the time for that IMO. simple skill tree simple menus, not 10000000000000 herbs and oils

If this game turns out to be incredible, I'm gonna be hard pressed on whether to spend my money on Nioh, this, or Nier. So many good games in the span of a few weeks. Don't have the money or the time.

WTF is NORA Keeper Pack? Can't find any proper info on it O_o. I'm trying to decide if I want digital deluxe or physical limited dedition. The only difference I see between those versions is that digital deluxe has this nora keeper pack thing and the other doesn't
