@iSmasher-78i basically yes, OBS does affect the fps because i am using NVENC encoder to record the gameplay footage. But without recording I do get much better average fps and 1% low fps
Wow man, you definitely won that silicon lottery. That's impressive for a 1080 Ti, especially when it's only watercooled. Mine doesn't wanna go higher than 2025Mhz core & 6210Mhz mem, I'm quite jealous of yours, I wish I could have mine run this fast 👍
I can run it at 2114mhz on core clocks, but I have to increase the voltage from 1.131v to 1.15v "Using Asus XOC VBIOs" .. My card cant run above 2050mhz with the original vbios though. The main thing from flashing to a different vbios was to unlock the power limit on my end..
@@ammartech3660 Can You tell me how do You watercool Your GPU? i am about try it also since my GTX1080TI works stable at max on 55-56 C with 2038-2063mhz clock.I am on Kraken G12 with Corsair H80i also almost all PCB is sticked with radiators.
@@wojsz20 I am using a full custom water cooling block for both my CPU and GPU with three 360mm radiators and D5 pump. Try to keep your card below 50C, below 50C, the card will boost to it max.
Recording via OBS does impact overall in-game FPS around 5 to 10 fps

@@ulyssessait Mine is EVGA SC2 " uses reference PCB " , flashed with Asus XOC Vbios " No power limit, and no Temp limit and unlocked voltage " .

Wow! The 1080Ti is still very strong GPU
Not bad for a 1080ti. Get the right optimized settings, and you can pretty much play all modern AAA titles.
Indeed! Still going strong in 2022 !
I have 1080 ti AMP EXTREME it runs 2063mhz on air stock vbios with 1.093v is that good?
А у меня максимум выжимает карта 1920 mgz и 6180, если только через msi afterburner
