Thanks for the nice comments. For those asking below this was done by Theatre Harrisburg about 8 years ago.. I played Aldolpho and we all loved this show and would do it again in a minute!
WOW!!! The whole cast & you were spectacular. I'd put this right up there with the Broadway production. Glad to hear how much you all loved the show too, & it shows in the performances. Thank-you for commenting. We all love Aldolpho!!
Hello Aldolpho!! you were awesome! if you want to watch a highschool preform it this year. come to canisius highschool on march 16th, 17th, and 18th, march 2023. I am playing one of the gangsters!
Good performance. I did notice that during cold feets you guys took the exact choreo... but that just shows how good the original choreo is and at least you guys did a good job preforming it.
What a great performance, absolutely obsessed with this show after our run of it, the audience always seems to love it no matter who performs it! And I love the ending you guys did during the bows with repeating the final songs ending with the bows music, wish we had thought of that. What a great way to send off the audience
There was a version of this show that was recently made private on youtube and i'm dying to find it! If anyone knows any information please let me know! It was my favorite version to watch.
Do you have a higher def copy of this version that you could make available.....? My son used this specific version to gain ideas for his performance of Man In Chair two years ago, and it disappeared off you tube back then....until now!
Excellent show. Granet, it's not the Broadway version but who cares it's the same show but different venues. But bottom line is it's an excellent show and I applaud to thee
Funny that this old-school Broadway afficianado was going to put on the movie soundtrack of The Music Man in preference to the original cast album. (The kid on Broadway was Eddie Hodges. Ron Howard was three years old at the time but about eight when he was in the movie)

This is the play my high school is doing. And I’m in the crew behind it and it’s turning out so great!
Aw, this MiC is so good
What a fantastic production. Thanks for sharing.
This is my favorite performance of all the videos on youtube.

Im doing this show this year in highschool. And i am even more excited.
This man is amazing
Ironically, this cuts off one note before the end as well, just like the last song of the musical.
Does anyone know anything about when and where this production was? (I know it's a long shot, but can't hurt to ask!)
We did this about 8 years ago at Theatre Harrisburg in Harrisburg PA.

Hi Charlotte.....I downloaded "The Drowsy Chaperone" from a "UA-cam" video somebody else posted so I have no control over quality.
THEY FUCKED UP TRIX IN THE FANCY DRESS SONG!!!!!!!
This was excellent!!!
Thanks so much!! 😁
Can anyone tell the name of the company and/or the theatre? These performers deserve to have their names noted!
We did this about 8 years ago at Theatre Harrisburg in Harrisburg PA. I was Aldolpho. 😁

I thought the same thing...PLUS, the first Original Cast Albums were produced in the forties! No cast recordings in the twenties, I'm afraid!
phew, your janet says she doesnt want to change keys but it seems she's in 6 diffrent keys xD
"With Mike Pence as Mr. Feldzieg" :D

DACKUP BANCERS!!!! COLY HATS!!!!!
only thing i was sad about was the fact that " show off" was too slow
My college did this show I auditioned for it but didn’t make it
I auditioned when my school was doing it too but also didn't make it
I like this version but they took a lot of liberties with the script!

A Message From a Nightingale is so cringe :/ but the rest is well done
Meant to be cringeworthy, I do believe.
They are parroting the racism prevalent in musicals back then.
@@GeorgeTSLC yeah, you can't talk 1920s musicals without the racism. The depiction was pretty accurate of the times.
Why does Janet sound Irish for some of this
👍🏻💘
This wasn't very exciting
