Glad I'm not the only one doing that sweep hack...been doing it for years but often don't because I feel guilty. The best broom for this is the rubber type that's also awesome for dog hair.

I just learned this with my Dyson! Have you switched the “switch” to the negative side. It’s on the bottom of the dyson! I have super fluffy carpet too. And I did that and it worked so much better!
Lysol had coconut scented wipes & ever since I discovered them I can’t do without that scent it’s just soooo good!

Hey! Thinking about ordering the dreamtech.. couple of questions for you lol.... does the brush get stuck with hair and stop spinning? Do you need to remove the brush often and cut off/clean the hairs? Do you NEED to use their soap? Or can you use any mop soap you like?

My high is I spent time with family, My low it was because my aunt passed away. She was 66 years old My uncle came to town so it was so nice to catch up with him. It had been almost two years since he had come to visit. The family is recovering from the loss.

Question about wet dry vacs... I don't understand how they work on hard wood. I have hickory-- the wood is sealed but the cracks are not- leaving even a little dampness on the floor I would think would ruin the shape as it would seep into the cracks.

Warm or cold. The instructions say not to use hot water. Yes, there are two tanks. One that holds the clean and one where the dirty water is sucked up.

What material is your sink ?? I think it's a big reason why it stays white. I have an old composite Ikea one that my grandfather installed when I was a kid... Impossible to get white. The bottom is forever yellow (at best) to brown. I use bleach a few times a yearr on it. Nothing else makes a dent. But bleach is really harsh so ....
Also it was so cute to have the girls tell us their high and low 🥰
It’s enameled cast iron. We picked that type because it “should” hold up for 20+ years. But I guess we will find out one way or another

That playroom was absolutely genius. So close to the kitchen, livingroom. So you can keep them close and entertained. And that toilet is genius too. I think I must have the precursor to yours. It has the flat sides all the way to the floor, but the seat doesn’t lift off. It’s still the old way. But that part is the worst part of toilet cleaning. So next time we need a new one I’ll look for that. I love that Britton has those chonky thighs. Emerson and Charly have both outgrown them. I was so sad when my daughter outgrew them too. Britton looks a lot like Emmy did. They’re all such beautiful little girls. Happy going back to school time! (It is bittersweet, we always did better with a schedule too, but enjoyed living the bohemian life!)😊
You maybe be able to just swap toilet seats! Britton is so much like Emmie but has Charlie moments too 😜 we love the chunk too.
