VIEWER REVIEW after using his KZS suit while playing airsoft " My KZS got fucked up after one game and i ended up just making a helmet scrim out of it, i personally don’t recommend it being used in a kit" Thank you to commenter @sopomistercs for pointing out my error of calling the suit BEREKZA instead of BEREZKA, the title has now been changed 7/29/24 6:00 Also, there were apparently standalone KZS material helmet covers made as well. Ive seen a couple of photos of Naval Infantry (Morpeh) using them pre 2010, especially during a specific 2003 training exercise. Also, you may find some KZS suits that are lighter and color and look different than one another. This is because the quality control wasn't the best in the USSR and different factories subsequently produced different-looking suits.
@@joshuaprest1590 idk. Actual use of this suit I.e. consistent abrasion on rough surfaces during proning, crouching, etc. will cause the fibers to rip apart. BBs wont really tear it apart its more so going to be torn apart due to how easy the material is snagged and torn. Have fun man, use your KZS and make a video about how it wore. THANKS FOR COMMENTING!
@@froginthewaves8450 cheers mate yeah I think I will wear it then and just get a klmk suit as well. Just got the addiction for the soviet Afghan loadouts haha
I have one it is really effective, great in the heat and good in the cold. I prefer it to my ghillie. It rolls up into a small size and it great under IR lights it doesn't glow or reflect. It's not perfect for thermal but does dissipate heat well and is better than standard uniforms.
You don’t wash a KZS suit, it was ment to be used once or twice and then be disposed of. Because of this, I would have to say that it isn’t durable and it probably does lose color after a wash or two. It’s still an awesome suit but don’t get it if you want it to last forever, invest in a Berekza Sumrak or cheap ali KZS masking suit if you just want the Berekza camo. THANKS FOR COMMENTING!
Also, be careful when there are spiky branches around, the fabric is just cotton mesh, so it feels a little bit like a loose, light knit jumper, but as for one-use stuff I'd say it's quite durable
Not just the Chemical troops but also Rocket troops, the guys manning the mobile ICBM's. The suit is actually impregnated with a fire retardant chemical that can irritate your skin, although they are so old now, it shouldn't be a problem. This acted as anti-flash protection for those troops as liquid fuel ICBM rocket fuel was extremely volatile. Some people misinterpret anti-flash as to mean anti nuclear flash, clearly not the case.
That's pretty cool, source? (not trying to discredit just curious) I knew about the fire retardant, also knew some Russian NBC troops work with rockets too.

Very good vid and editing keep it up mane!
Great vid. I did a review of the KLMK coveralls you might like. In its case it is reversible to an anti-starlight pattern.
That part with Stalin and the suspenseful music had me dying!
lol thanks for commenting!
Correction, the suit is called BEREZKA , not BEREKZA , berezka means birch, berekza does not exist
Thank you so much for commenting and pointing out my error!
I know that in Russia it also goes by “sun ray”

Nice!
Is it durable? Does it loose color after each wash?

@@froginthewaves8450 i see. so what do you think i should do with it when im done wearing it (to wash of sweat and dirt)?
@andreananth3924 Get a bucket and gently rinse It in lukewarm water with or without mild detergent.

Great vid, very informative and presented well. ☪️⭐🇺🇸
Thank you Grandpa!
I added an elastic material to inside of the wrists so I didn’t have to roll the sleeves up
Smart mod! They would later put elastic In the cuffs with their later innovations with Berekza garments.
An old school russian camo.)
Now you need to buy 6B3 or 6B5 )
