There’s no such thing as a Chinese calendar... it’s a lunar calendar and China follows it along with many other Asian countries but because China is a big country and also the U.S keeps translating everything “Asian” as Chinese but that’s wrong. Chinese New Year is incorrect it’s lunar new year. My husband is Korean and he doesn’t know anything about Chinese and Vietnamese food... so Jeanie saying go eat asain food as if it’s all the same it’s not. In fact many Asians aren’t even familiar with the other Asian countries cuisine.

True. But surgery can help you feel confident. I, for example, want to get a nose job. It's something that has bothered me since I was 14 y.o. And that surgery will change my life for the better. I will no longer be worried about how my profile looks, because I feel I look like an ugly man 😂 and bc of that I exluded myself from society (friends) .. I photoshop all of my pictures to make my nose smaller. 🤷♀️ BUT I think that surgeries are fine ONLY if the person is old enough to understand the consequences and that nothing will look perfect/ you have to be realistic with your expectations ☺️

I’m 19! Struggling with my appearance for years! Trying to be something I’m not if I’m honest! Losing weight, gaining weight, maintaining weight, since middle school! Because I compared myself constantly to others! Even to this day it’s so hard to love myself but this segment actually put tears in my eyes and motivated me to realize that who I am is more important than trying to be someone else

Tamera is the only woman sitting at that table that hasn't had anything done. Even Loni shared that she had a nose job when she was younger. It's sad that women in the entertainment industry feel the pressure to change themselves in this manner. Because look at Tamera. Untouched, yet she still looks great. You are good enough as you are. That's the message young people should be getting.

Yeah but if Margot Robbie or Candice from Victoria Secret don't have any plastic surgery done that doesn't mean that everybody would look as good without plastic surgery. Tamera looks good naturally, but not everybody is as fortunate in the looks department. Take it from someone that has wanted a certain procedure since the age of 10.
If *nobody* did anything cosmetic to their face and body (except work out and stuff like that) then everybody would feel better about themself. But if everybody has plastic surgery and photoshop and professional make up artists, and you have to make do with how you look, chances are that you don't measure up (unless you were lucky enough to be born with the face of a VS model).

That whole mirror thing works I had low self confidence about my body so I would stand in the mirror in my underwear and tell myself I’m beautiful I like the way I look and it worked. I haven’t done it in a while and with postpartum body going on I think I need to start it back up.
Let’s say my child had an accident that caused like her nose to collapse, then absolutely. If she just saw that a kardhasian got a nose job and she wants one too when there’s nothing wrong with her nose then no. She can when she wants to pay for it herself

I was going to say no, but I remembered my mom let me have plastic surgery to have keloids removed from both of my ears. So I would have to say it depends. If it was some type of scar that was being removed then that's different. But if it's certain things that I feel maybe harmful to you. Like breast or butt implants. Than my answer would be a no. I pray that people are taught to love people foe who they are, and that people can learn to truly lovw themselves for who they are. It's nothing wrong with loving yourself the way you are.

I was raised in an environment where I was constantly being told I was beautiful. Even though I knew the people saying it didn't mean it. I have little tiny ears, a crooked mouth, pug nose and chubby cheeks. But I focused more on being kind and good to people, far more than obsessing about my looks. Today we have social media and bullying in school and it is now out of control.
If my child wanted to get a nose job or something like that, I would allow it. But breast or butt implants....hecky no!

I will talk to my child and have a mature conversation and ask them what the intentions are behind them doing this or wanting to do something that could potentially cause problems in the future if not done right... so for me , as long as you have an open conversation about it before you allow your child to do it and being realistic then I think it’s fine... I would teach my child to love themselves first and foremost before even getting to the point of wanting plastic surgery

And now everyone goes to the gym to get the body or plastic surgery. If my child was being seriously bullied, I might consider it, depending on which body part it is. For example, ears or noses don’t really change all too much, so maybe with those sorts of things I’d do. Boobs or butt or stomach is way too extreme for a child or a teenager, that’s so you can do as an adult with your own money. But that’s mostly because I’d gotten really badly bullied to the point of torture because I had leg braces when I was a child, so I know kids are really cruel and if it is something I can fix for my kid, that is safe and minor, I’d 100% do it.
What is the use of getting all this plastic surgery... when you have kids your kids are gonna look like your original self

I have a big butt and I'm not black I love my curves and bubble butts run in my family. I do think it's because of the hormones in food and genetics. I even started puberty at 8. I am so tired of hearing her be rascist. But I applaud Adrien for standing up to her without being confrontational.

I have a bump on my nose, along with it being huge. I wanted to get a surgery done because I’m Indian and my nose looked Middle Eastern. I was constantly teased by my cousins and they told me that my mom slept with another man(not true 💯 we took a DNA test to prove them wrong) and that I was 1/2 Arabian. Later found out that my dads grandma was Arabian so my cousins kids could end up with that nose. Knowing that it was genetic was so amazing and I never got it done. I’m proud of being part Arabian and want to support my Arabian brothers and sisters cause our nose is amazing

I know a friend of my wife who did a surgery for losing weight to please her husband, but you know what the husband left him for an other woman. You need to like yourself first,don't do it to make people happy, otherwise you won't never be sastified,our society is very complicated, i have a young daughter teenager, since she was 6 years i always argue with my wife ,she has to feed her right ,don't give them too much food, feed her as a kid.we went to the pediatrician clinic, the doctor told me,she paased the overweight line,she weights 200,,she supposed to be like 140,i told the doctor ,my wife doesn't listen me,feed your kid doesn't mean you have to give an excess of food.i always when i go to work, take her to the park not only to go to the parties,i like my daughter but i just want her to be healthy,she starts learning how to eat now,i am so happy.thanks ladies for our advice,its the same thing i always say to my friend or anyone, learn to love yourself,eat well ,do exercises without spending a lot money for surgery who could hurt you back.thanks ladies.
It’s disturbing how many people believe photoshop. The body goes through changes. Some people experience more body changes than others especially the late bloomers like myself. I was an ugly duckling in high school and desperately wanted to change everything on the outside. Now I’m glad I was poor because I would look goofy trying to maintain the plastic surgery procedures I wanted in my 20s cover the body Gods still working on in my 30s. I feel bad for my classmates who got nose jobs as high school graduation gifts because the upkeep they’ve had to endure over the years didn’t make it worth it.

Honestly if the parents are cool with it, we really can’t say anything ya know? But I will say I think plastic surgery for teens is ok, it just depends on what. Personally, I think I have a big forehead, and i’ve been bullied for years for it. I’ve begged my mom to let me get reduction surgery. As much as she hates to think about how i’m insecure, she’s thought about letting me get it. BUT if i wanted implants or something, she’d say no. She wouldn’t “sponsor” me wanting to look grown.

First off what came out of Joseline's mouth was all types of wrong and just not right.
Secondly if my child came up to me and asked me could they fix something about themselves right then and there we would have an open discussion about how they are feeling and I would tell them about how I felt at their age. I would teach my child self love and that they are absolutely gorgeous the way God made them. For me I just wouldn't want my child to think that getting plastic surgery is the only option for them to fit in.
At first I would no given how you're still growing and developing but it's an insecurity that affects you're daily life and it'd been that way for a long time then yes.
