I love how well you explained this. And i pull a Mariah Carey when people ask me how i identify. I just say im a person. But society would perceive me as white though i grew up in an Ecuadorian household in a predominantly black/latino neighborhood
_Happy New Year_ *Alexis* _You should wash your pet's collar as often as you wash your pet. Body oils, dirt, germs, and drool can all lurk on these surfaces and easily transfer to other surfaces in the home. To avoid giving your dog or cat skin-related issues, thoroughly clean collars at least every two weeks. You might even be able to toss the collar into a washing machine instead of washing it by hand, so check the collar’s material. Leashes can be cleaned once a month unless they get filthy on an outdoor adventure ps luv the hairstyle

I'm more frustrated as an adult than I was as a child. people make such a big deal out of what race you are. but being able to experience 2 different cultures is amazing, I love it
Just had a situation the other day where I had a close friend who is black-hispanic ask me what they thought they were when I met them. I straight up told them that it didnt even come to mind because I focus more on personality and theh could not conceive how race didnt even come into the equation. Its frustrating because thats how I treat everyone because I grew up in a diverse neighborhood and im mixed and I much rather be seen for who I am and not what I look like.
People need to stop judging based on colourism and more about character. Sadly even Within families we have racism

Excellent, brilliant way you explained your perception
Great way that you articulated about how you were raised and how society perceives you based on appearance.

Hope you had a merry Christmas!
Once you realize people don't care you'll be a calmer, more productive person.
If ppl didn’t care, I wouldn’t constantly be asked about it to the point of needing to clarifyz
