Aww loved seeing this! Definitely one of the main takeaways is doing something for yourself...and getting up earlier will always help to have a more productive day 🤗 For the longest time my husband and I would work out late in the evenings after work, but we found we were staying up way too late and didn't feel like we were as productive as we should be. Now, we wake up super early...3:45am early and go to bed about 8pm 😳 That's because we like to have breakfast before gym since we have been focusing on building strength and I've found my body needs that fuel by the time we get to the gym about 5am and we're there for about an hour/hour and a half. So usually by the time we're done, we're starving! So our postworkout kind of serves as a "second breakfast" 😂
I would assume you don't eat before gym because you do more HIIT oriented training or since it's better for fat burning? That could be a nice video idea as well, the slight changes one may make to their eating times/morning/night routines depending upon their workout goals and outcomes they wish to achieve 🤗

Glucose is the primary and ‘preferred’ fuel source for the brain, not fat 😊 Loved the video!
I eat a higher fat diet so my brain loves fat but I realise I said that wrong! My bad! Thank you 💖
Ketones (a byproduct of fat metabolism) are actually a more efficient fuel for our brains then glucose, and can provide up to 70% of our brains energy needs. You are correct our brains need glucose, but we can produce it internally so we don't actually require any through diet. Just an FYI 😊

Love your channel😊 wanted to ask if you find that if you’re intermittent fasting or if you don’t eat before gym, do you find yourself getting light headed or not having as much energy during your workout? I want to try intermittent fasting and I like working out in the early morning but I’m worried I won’t feel too good! Thank you!❤️
Edden Ered I work out before eating and I have the most energy ever! I have the best workouts fasted in the morning
I know I'm not Georgie but I figured I'd share my experience too :) Personally I feel fine when working out in a fasted state, sometimes I may feel like I have a tiny bit less energy (but that may have to do more with the fact that I may have not gotten the best sleep) but other than that, I totally feel fine! It's obviously not for everyone though, so I say give it a shot, you may like it or you may not. Just do what feels best for you :)

I always train in a fasted state and find it works better for me. I prefer to train at around 6pm also, I have tried having a banana or something first and honestly I felt crappy whilst training with something in my belly.
In saying that, I have friends who always eat before training as they say they can train without it...so I think it’s a very personal choice as to what works for the individual x
Hey nic, so do you mean you haven't eaten for a few hours pre workout as opposed to actually being fasted? Cos by 6pm at night, i would assume you have eaten that day :) neither is wrong or whatever, just curious to clarify cos not having eaten in a few hours is different to fasted :) xx

Woohoo for keto coffee! You weren't completely incorrect for saying our brains run off fat. Ketones are a more efficient fuel source than glucose for our brains and the MCTs in that coffee promote ketone production.
But eating toast totally discounts any sort of ketone production.
@@jadenpetersburg1431 toast or not MCTs will create some ketones immediately. But ya, she won't be producing ketones all the time with the higher carbs.
Love the video, but face cleaning brushes also have bacteria. Everything has bacteria. It is more challenging actually to clean the brush than clean your hands.

Hi Hun, what do you mean by your brain works off fat?
If your body is producing ketones (byproduct of fat metabolism) they can provide most of the energy your brain needs. The rest can be created internally. But you will only be producing ketones if you are eating a high fat/low carb diet. Or consuming something that promotes ketone production as with the MCTs in Georgie's "keto coffee".

Your brain does not run on fat. In fact fatty acids are not used as a direct energy source by the brain at all! Fatty acids are transported in the blood bound to albumin, and albumin can not cross the blood-brain barrier.

Charlotte Handforth depends what diet you are on. Example; ketogenic diet! Once your in ketosis your brain will survive off fat
