INGREDIENTS
1 Kg Crabs
SAUCE
A thumb size ginger
1 solo garlic or 4 cloves of a regular garlic
1 medium-size red or white onion
375g unsalted butter [1 Butter= 250g] (adjust to your preference)
60g herb butter (optional)
1 Tsp black or white pepper
1 Tsp oregano
1Tsp lemon pepper
1 Tsp garlic powder
1 Tsp salt
1 Tsp sweet paprika
1 Tsp cayenne pepper
1 Tsp chili powder (add more to your taste)
1 Tsp chili flakes (optional)
1 Tsp soup base powder or any seafood seasoning

Was the crab boiled or steamed before getting put in? Or was it raw and cooked in the garlic butter sauce?

Yes it was raw did you not see the blue shells now they are red after being cooked just like a shrimp
