I'm very interested in learning from you and the overall contemporary concept of vocals and singing that you have. Amazing how you can switch from theatrical to contemporary so quickly. So great! Thanks very much! A tired voice comes from too much pushing and straining, and often incorrect use of resonance. I would recommend checking out my online courses, which help with all these things!
Hi! I usually feel better singing in A or A# key and lots of times I've heard that's a male key... Is my voice wrong? I've tried D key but usually is very hard for me to sing in that key... any advice? thanks and blessings!
Everyone's voice is different, so there's not a "right" and "wrong"! :) You should sing in whatever key is most comfortable for you! However, I would recommend that you begin exercising your higher range, so you can gain strength in the higher notes. Our voice doesn't get better just by singing songs, but it will improve when we do very specific vocal exercises to strengthen the different parts of our range and coordinations in the voice. Check out www.theworshipvocalist.com -- I've created vocal workouts just for that purpose!
