I've been listening to this Lalo Shifrin song since 2004. It's so well written, executed, and full of life with his band. Jon Faddis and the Tenor Saxophonist (I would love to learn his name) absolutely kills it.
estoy aquí bailando esa rumba! impperdonable quedar sentado mirando..qué es eso? Brutal John Faddis y David Sánchez-Salvaje big band de Lalo S.el mejor! Sigo rumbeando!
thanks for posting this videos, sometimes we do not have the time to sit down and take a look at them. Also the conga player Marcio Doctor is from Argentina and Ignacio Berroa from Cuba on the drums. I remember that we went there rehearse one day and played the next day. Great to be seen.-aa
Sir, it is a great honor to read your comment here. I have admired your playing for decades, since I first heard you on Weather Report albums. You, among other great musicians , have motivated me to continue my study of music in order to be as proficient as I might be. I owe you a debt of gratitude I can never repay. Many thanks.
@overlordspencerman the guy is Jon Faddis and the trumpet is a special schilke S 42 model Jon Faddis with a special mouthpiece built right for him. I had the privilege to attend a masterclass for one week with him.

Awesome composition and arrangement. Lalo is one of the finest band leaders, composer, arranger and conductors...
