There’s a really great operator video on here. I’m busy working it. It’s a real pain but once you get the picking pattern down and the little run to resolve the sequence it isn’t so bad. First video to come up for me when you type ‘operator guitar tutorial’:-)
This is a classic acoustic guitar song. That you can really enjoy playing on acoustic guitar. Not hard or complicated to play. Thanks Marty for uploading this song. It would be so nice Marty if you can add some of America's songs, "Tin Man", "Ventura Highway" on your acoustic video tutorials. Early 70's songs had a lot of hit songs from acoustic guitar playing. That is still excited and memorable to play today. Keep them coming!! ♥️♥️♥️
That J45 sounds amazing! I have one and keep it tuned down a full step. Love it....might be getting a SJ-200 soon...thank you for continually making my set list cool
Hey Marty it's been a while since I last visited and your still the very best out there for the way you make it so fun and simple to learn new stuff....thank you brother!!!!
Got to say that at some point in every video you have posted you make me laugh (in a good way) -- that's quite a skill. That, plus, y'know, chords and stuff.
I remember learning how to play this a while ago but i found it really awkward because of all the palm muting stuff that goes on lol. arpeggiating the chords seems like the most logical way to play it. its hard to hear in the original recording because of the organ that's constantly playing over the top of everything XD
I learned the "original" one with the picking, which is a actually not that hard. (I'm a beginner!) I got the intro and the first verses but now I decided to continue with this. It's just more fun! As much as I love Bruce.
Would love as much of blues improvisation and delta blues styles as well as slide guitar and Clapton unplugged accoustic music….love the Blues and Rock styles👍
Not really sure if it’s appropriate to make requests here just curious if you could post a video for 23 by Chayce Beckham. Thanks for all the great content…. You’ve basically taught me how to play guitar.👍
That’s great Marty, I have a special request could u show me how would be the streaming pattern of the song “I’m on fire” by Waylon Jennings?? I would appreciate any info in regard the streaming and chords used By Waylon Jennings in this specific song ….. sincerely, one of his many beyond forever nostalgic Waylonized fans.
Hey Shaun, hope I can help… its more a trial and error thing until you find the right one… for me the perfect grip is the Fender Medium pick. Tom Morelo said once in his masterclass that if he changed picks it would be chaos 😂
I have like 5 different TYPES of picks, for acoustic i use big thin picks, for rock or just about anything i use medium picks, and forsolos or metal i use small thick jazz picks
@@jorgebrando4784 thanks for the tips, yes ive tried alot of different picls after a year of practicing im ALOT better but still struggle to play through a whole song without losing the pick somewhere along the way very frustrating at times
Oh Marty.. I’ve been learning from you for years, and I dig everything you do... but this is like way below standard man. The way you play it in the beginning is terrible. For guitar it bad to be done with Travis picking to fit the rhythm.
Wow, you are clueless. The words used in the song are figures of speech. Song is about love at first sight, and Bruce knows she's not happily married, but he can't do anything about it because she is married. Nice try, though 😂
Great choice as usual Marty! Can you do "operator" or "I got a name" by Jim Croce?
You're clearly a man of refined taste. Some awesome Jim Croce songs and beautiful guitar parts.
Second vote for operator
Yes please!
Hell yes. And dont forget about time in a bottle too

Hey Shaun, hope I can help… its more a trial and error thing until you find the right one… for me the perfect grip is the Fender Medium pick. Tom Morelo said once in his masterclass that if he changed picks it would be chaos 😂
Yes look for picks that have extra grip it’s a game changer

Creepy lyrics, hi little girl is your daddy home? Did he go away and leave you all alone? I got a bad desire ,, yikes Bruce,
Anyone gonna bring up this song is about a adult going after a underaged girl. "Hey little girl is your daddy home?"
Wow, you are clueless. The words used in the song are figures of speech. Song is about love at first sight, and Bruce knows she's not happily married, but he can't do anything about it because she is married. Nice try, though 😂
