Ruth Melo, via text message: "Professor Ogunyemi, as per our discussion, I have watched your youtube lectures. Thank you very much for putting a new face on Yoruba Philosophy/Idealism. Very informative and enlightening. "

Queen Juana Lacen has emboldened me to add this comment about Chief Awo. "Chief Awo created a moral atmosphere (during his poli-philosophical life) for a moral society to thrive, impacting a moral majority to which idealism belongs and from which realism emerges."

As initiated by Queen Juana Lacen, realism in Yoruba land in Yoruban perspective means the act of seeing things the way they are. It is the way to realize what's perceptible or visible to the eyes and mind.

The moment he mentioned some Yoruba linguist being a slave. All his words lost merits.

My dear, this is an historic fact, Jesus took the form of a slave… so being a slave in not an end….it is what you become that makes you great.
Yorubas believe that you stoop to conquer… the quality of your person as omoluabi is about the quality of your thinking and and your moral. Ajayi Crowther was a captured slave, but he overcame all obstacles to become the first African Bishop, his domain even extended to Onitsha…go and study history.
