in this video m gonna explain u about Hypertonic, Hypotonic & Isotonic Solutions in hindi (Tonicity is a measure of the effective osmotic pressure gradient; the water potential of two solutions separated by a semipermeable cell membrane. In other words, tonicity is the relative concentration of solutes dissolved in solution which determine the direction and extent of diffusion).

Isotonic solution are those which have same solute and solvent as the surrounding body fluid or the cytoplasm ,🤔 r8?
Sir I asked my teacher many times and other people to make me understand but I couldn't understand but after watching this video it's totally cleared.Thanku so much sir.
All my doubts is clear finally I'm able to understand this concept thanks sir

Finally got this concept thank you sir for this videoo🙌
Thx sir ..this video is very helpful ..for exam 👍👍
Thank you brother 👍
What a good explanation sir! 😍 now I'm satisfied from this topic👏
Hiii
Hi❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
very nice explanation sir
all my doubts are clear
thankyou sir 🙂🙂
Thanks UA-cam for such an amazing suggestion.... Today I got this concept
Very good explanation
In dextrose+ water soln , if rbc is placed then it will swell ...bcz in this soln the concentration of water is high i.e. the soln is hypotonic... hence , water will move inside rbc bcz in osmosis solvent go from hypotonic soln to hypertonic...thus , rbc will swell
Its mean it’s not the example of isotonic.
Thank u so much sir aphki viedo mere liye bhut helhful hai
Thanks bhaiya this is very useful video for clearing my doubt ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
If solution in which a cell is placed has equal concentration to that the cell then solution is isotonic
👍 keep it up
Sir
When the amount of solute and solvent is equal it is said to be isotonic solution
I understood the concept...thanks
Thanks for excellent explanation!
Sir 5% dextrose sugar yai solute hua na tuu 5% water dyng gaii tuu yai shrink b nhi hoga swelling b nhi hoga
I had confusion about this topic . Your lecture really helped me sir...😊Thanks
Welcome tamanna

Another level explanation 🔥🔥
Sir your way of study is extremely grateful to me thanks🙏
Welcome dear, keep sun
Kia bat he sir mza hi kra dia lecture ne achi information di
🙏Thank you so much sir ji aapne pura concept hi clear Kar diya....🙏
Isotonic solution _ the solution in which the concentration is same both inside the cell and outside the cell is known as isotonic solution.
Wow brilliant 😅😊
Aaj se pehle yeh kabhi bhi samajh nhi aya tha ab boht acha aa gaya hai
Bas aik cheez mein confuse hun k aap kidhr khare hue the aur board kidhar tha 😂😂
🤣🤣kuch confusion bana rehna chahiye
😂😂phr bhi
Isotonic solution means than the concentration of solute and solvent will be same so it will remain as it is ..
Excellent sir,all my doubts are clear
thanks sir Allah bless you 😊😊😊
When two solutions have similar concentration, they are called isotonic solutions
Nicee🌸🌸
@@ChalkTalkTutorials thank you
Finally, my topic is complete with no confusion. Thank u so much sir
Thanks alot it's very clear to understand..🥰
If the external medium surrounding the cell has same water concentration as inside a cell there will be no movement of water molecules. Such a solution is called an isotonic solution
It is very old defination
I don't like this definition 😭
Thanks bhai bilkul samajh mai aa gaya👍🏻
Took more than ten days to understand this untill I clicked on this video
Nice video 👌
Sir in isotonic solutions solvent and solute both is equal in which the cell is neither swell nor shrink🙏
Thank you so much sir...today my concept is clear and all confusions also clear
Welcome
Mujhy phli bar y topic smj aya thanks aloooot sir ♥️😘😇
thanks for clearing my concepts
Sir you missed the difference between osmolarity and tonicity.
Osmolarity is concentration expressed in units of solute/volume. Tonicity is a behavioral term. It describes what a solution would do to a cell's volume at equilibrium if the cell comes in contact with the solution. A cell placed in a hypotonic solution will gain volume and swell. A cell placed in a hypertonic solution will lose volume and shrink.
Let's look at the osmolarity and tonicity of two of the most commonly used iv solutions: normal saline (or 0.9% NaCl) and D-5%-W [or 5% dextrose (glucose)] in water. If we measure their concentrations on an osmometer, we find that they are both 278 mOsmol/l, so they are isosmotic.
But if we administer them to a person by an iv infusion, we find that normal saline is isotonic because NaCl does not enter red cells, whereas D-5%-W is hypotonic because glucose goes into red cells. Here is an important example of when isosmotic is not isotonic.
How can you explain this difference in tonicity to students? One way is to have them remember blood glucose homeostasis. If you give someone an iv of glucose solution, such as D-5%-W, over time all of the glucose you gave them will go into cells. As glucose enters cells, the movement of solute from the extracellular fluid into the cells causes water to follow by osmosis. The cell gains volume, so the solution is hypotonic.
But the story doesn't stop there. Glucose inside the cell is metabolized by aerobic respiration with the end products of CO2 and water. So the end result of giving a D-5%-W solution is the same as if you gave the person pure water.

Sir likh kaise rahe h ye sbse bada doubt ban gya h😟and ye sir ke aage kaise h
Yes🤔🤔🤔
