Summer Festival in Hachioji 八王子まつり

Yesterday, I attended a summer festival in Hachioji. Hachioji is about 45 minutes from Shinjuku on the Chuo line. This festival had many floats and portable shrines throughout the city. There are many performances throughout the day and a lot of food and drinks stalls to choose from.The event draws about 700,000 people throughout the weekend and is a lot of fun. If your in Tokyo during the festival, you should try to make it out to Hachioji for this event!
