Highlights from Amal Walks Across America "We Have A Dream"

Highlights from Little Amal's visit to the Woodruff Arts Center on October 8, 2023, as part of the "Amal Walks Across America" tour. Inspired by the new book "We Dream a World " by Atlanta activist Yolanda Renee King, Alliance Theatre's teen ensemble presented a new performance piece with Little Amal exploring issues impacting our youth, and together, carried forward a message of hope for a different world in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Special guest artists included Yolanda Renee King, High Museum's Teen Team, Global Village Project Chorus, Alif Institute’s Youth Drummers, and the South Atlanta Sonic Boom Drumline.
Presented by Alliance Theatre and High Museum of Art. In partnership with the Global Village Project, Refuge Coffee Co., Alif Institute, and the Mayor’s Office of International & Immigrant Affairs.
