I would enjoy hearing Pia commentate chess tournaments. She is very expressive and eloquent.
Yeah, the current comentators are super pretentious in the most akward way possible
@@magicjoaco i agree with that 💀
She has such a comforting, non-judgemental way about her.
Absolutely. She does it very naturally, it's almost as if she's just thinking out loud.
Her commentary on Anna's games at Rilton was excellent. The videos are still on Twitch.
- Knock, knock.
- Who's there?
- Grandma.
- Grandma who?
- Grandmaster.
😂
😂😂😂
Spam this on every video if you haven't already.
lol :D good one
That joke will be awesome if Anna decides to become a mom when she's a little older.
I love how, before Mom makes any move, she analyzes and takes into account the best response from her opponent. A lesson for us all.
True bro 🙌🙌👍
The way she sees the moves in her head is so impressive.
That's what all chess grandmasters do, it's called calculating
@@furcornmanwiththemasterpla8380 what is it called when we 1300s try to do it? 😅
@@acpliego Calculating
Your mum is awesome. It must be like having Gandalf on your side.
LOL
weak gandalf
She’s not THAT old 😅
For real! Listening to her consider that her opponent is an AI.... I wouldn't want to cross her on the board...
*mom
Momma Cramling is definitely a GM. She takes one look and starts planning 4 steps ahead with multiple possibilities, weighing each scenario, then choosing the best move. Playing the center, planning blacks possible strategies. Absolutely impressive logic.
A Swedish powerhouse c:
Right 👍
@@theoneymee You mean from New Arabia, not Sweden
@@KarlTitiNo, Pia is from Sweden. Not sure what New Arabia alludes to.
@@vargsvansify obviously it alludes to that arab refugees take over Sweden
Love when your mom explain the moves!
She has so much peace
@@cocovacilando6601 yes and she explains so well
my mom?
Pia: The bot will do this.
Bot: I guess I will.
I thought the bot was listening to their conversations and doing the moves Pia thought were most logical.
Pia was finding best moves for both sides 😂
Say whatever you want about the bot's accuracy, but the fact he was able to draw a 4400 player is absolutely incredible!
…it’s not 4000 idiot.
@@William_Lewis. I think you should look up more. Some things keep flying over your head 😉
They explained that it doesn't work that way... I think they probably play together closer to 2700.
@@jtidema
It's SARCASM bro
I honestly love seeing Anna's smile in every video
She's cute. That's why.
The way her mom smiles at her tho
She is a lovely young woman, and a delight to hear her expound on her passion.
I’m a little disappointed frankly that she was born in Spain to a Spanish father as Señorita Lopez, and chose to dye her hair blonde and call herself Swedish after her mom but that is her decision. But I’m sure Spain laments the loss.
@@kitrichardson2165 Wtf are you talking about. She is 50/50 no matter what.
It's the best smile on the internet, period.😁
[Bot makes strange move]
Pia: It was very logical.
[Bot makes yet another strange move]
Pia: Oh, yeah, that was very logical move.
Pia > Bot.
I'm impressed about how much she is always thinking about the opponent's plans first. I'm 2300 and I'm sure I could improve if I manage to add this skill to my thinking process (Like I'm doing it but not at this level haha)! Even if the bot played dubious in the opening phase, I'm convinced about how instructive is the game and listening to the commentary. Thank you!
2300 lichess or fide? lol
there's a giant difference
@@iDC-Javi probably rank and not fide but I may be wrong at that level you'd probably be in competition. I'm 1300 lichess aka a noob
Why you lying bro?
Pia identifies brilliant positional ideas in a few seconds that would take me 15 minutes to see and then dismiss as being too complicated.
Your mum sounds so laid back but it's like her mind works so so fast. Very impressive
She'll talk about 5 moves before my brain can catch up to understanding the first.
A Pia video!!! Your Mum is wonderful, really love these videos, thank you!
I really love these instructional vids with your mom. Thanks!
Sit your kids down to listen to this if they play chess. They explained moves very well. Ideas are very clear.
That was great. Always enjoy watching these. So easy to listen to your mom explain the moves. Something about the way she explains makes you want to listen real hard.
Pia is so awesome, and she looks at her daughter with so much love.
It's not her daughter Anna is adopted
I’m not sure why UA-cam recommended your channel to me but never in 100 years did I think I would be so interested in watching chess 😂
I really enjoy how vocal your mom is about her thoughts. Reminds me of math lectures where Profs explained every thought while conducting proofs. It makes it enjoyable to follow these fast and complex decision being made on the board
Always cool seeing family doing things together that they’re passionate about. Mom seems so sweet
I love the videos with pia analyzing positions and games
Awesome! I have learned so much! Thanks for doing these videos.
Absolutely very good instructive commentary on how one should play the game.A must watch for anyone who wants to learn the game.Thank you both for the great analysis.
The way you look at your mum. Love it. She clearly means a lot to you.
Loved this video and your enthusiasm and excitement for chess! Great job drawing such a strong bot!
I just love how excited to play chess mother and daughter are. And how giddy they seem every time they make a move. Like they can barely contain their joy and not burst out laughing with every move. Awesome!
I loved the way she explained each and every move and threat so clearly..thanks
You're mom is great at explaining the game. Very helpful for a beginner like me.
Fascinating to gain this insight into thought process! Love this.
Your mom is so humble! That is amazing! So much depth in her!
So great hearing the thought process behind what you're doing. Lovely video.
Always, a fun time when you watch Anna's posts. Pia is so chill and Anna is a live wire. What a contrast. LOVE IT.
I love the videos with your parents. It’s fascinating listening to how your mam thinks about chess.
I really enjoyed this analysis: it was very instructive to hear you both thinking and strategising out loud
I learned a lot from this video. Specifically, I learned to never challenge Pia Cramling to a chess match. Man, she's sneaky.
Sneaky seems like a wrong word to use
and mean 😅
Love your mom's explanations! Thank you for the video!
Pia is a legend! I remember being 10 years old playing Pia and Dan at passanten in Huddinge, those were the days! :)
Who won?😂
This has been so informative.
Thank you.
Well done guys! Really impressive watching expert players consider everything!
Amazing details and open ended questions to your GM mom thank you for sharing. This is truly beautiful and one of the best 😊
Wonderful, thank you both for a very enjoyable game (and some great analysis).
This was very cool and helpful for us chess beginners. Your mom seems like a great teacher.
Wow, that was fun! And educational. Nice analysis really making me think. Great idea. Totally worth the time to enjoy. Thank you both, mama, daughter!
Thanks a lot, you both give us the lesson about chess. So impressive.
If I'm not mistaken the game resulted in a draw because bots are programmed to always play the "best" move for the given position. If you repeat a move, they will keep repeating their last move as well if it's the best line for them.
I've never seen a bot go for an early draw before. Strong game from the Cramlings!
I don’t play chess and love your videos, this was a great explanation of how the game is played , more of these please , your mom and dad are awesome
This is of greater value than any of your videos I have watched previously
I love and respect so much your relationship with your mom. She is wonderful.
Mom explains perfectly. The first ever chess channel I've shared with somebody!
Great stuff. Thanks!
Wow, what a treat to get your mom's thoughts on the game as it's going!
Very fun. I always enjoy when you have your mom, or dad, involved. Not a typical thing!!! :) Best wishes...
3:25 Anna in love with her mom. So wholesome
pias analysis is so sharp and easy to digest, big thanks for the great video anna :D
This was a lot of fun, and it was absolutely fascinating to see you both thinking through each moment of the game.
pure entertainement and in the same time great chess lesson!! thx to share your passion
I love videos Whit your mom, she so calm at explaining tactics
It's always lovely to see a harmonious chess family.
Love your videos. Du har blivit min favorit skäck UA-camr! So long Levy!
Very cool video! More Pia and Juan videos please!
Fantastic and quite a surprise draw. I hope you do more of these in fthe future.
i love ur mom's commentary on the game she sooo chilllll
Best lesson in a real game I have ever seen. Thank you.
Please do a lot more videos like this!
Love your mom so much. What a great experience to watch her mind at work.
serious question: how many brains does Pia have? And how fast do they work?
These videos with mom are so wholesome.
Los videos que haces con tus padres son realmente entretenidos, amenos e instructivos. Tu madre es capaz de explicar la posición y las posibles opciones de una manera sencilla y eso no es tan fácil como parece y además es muy relajante escucharla.
I think your Mum is great, having seen her in many of your other videos. I knew she was good, but I didn't know she became the #1 rated player in the world for a brief period back in the 80s! That's amazing! You must be so proud of your parents!
I love Pia. A legend in Sweden
Pia smashes it!! Love this.
If there were serious 2v2 tournaments, you 2 would be so dangerous together!
imagine hikaru and magnus 💀
@@dog-ye1sti was just going to say that lol
they’re so good it took me like 40min to get through the video bc i kept having to pause to play out mama cram’s hypotheticals bc i cant visualize chess notation and then once i comprehended what she was saying id need a moment to pog and recollect myself
The "Engine" bot can be set up to 3200. Try that one, too!
It is always very nice to meet Pia on the Channel
I'm amazed at Pia's ongoing analysis of the game, and especially taking into account what what her opponent is doing. And Anna is always ready to charge ahead!
You have a such a sweet and beautiful family and I love the interaction between you all! This series is amazing
Your mom is so humble for being such a brilliant mind.
Love your collab with Mom. ❤
You should let your mom do rapid Speedruns till 2300ish and teach us her repertoire and with her being so good at explaining we viewers would benefit a lot from those vids. Maybe your mom is too busy tho so just thought for food here
online is inflated. pia can beat 2300+ easily
I really appreciate these commentaries.
Great to hear her thought process. Thanks!
I love love this video! More mum analysis videos I say
I love how Anna’s mom is now everyone’s mom lol
Insane! I absolutely loved the video and the game.
Always like to listen to your mum Anna, great video 🙂💜
Man I can’t wait to understand what’s going on. I am a beginner so these videos commentating on the matches really help explain why people move pieces the way they do
I love your mom calm collective confident and humble
Ur mom just reminded my mom. God bless both of you
Fun video!
I can see where Anna gets her big smile
Pia can command an actual battle with that kind of forethinking. Just Amazing!
This is so wholesome. I love it.
Listening to your mom one can tell she is a great teacher. She speaks very clear and very to the point.
I love watching 2 brilliant brains work together!
I'm impressed by Anna and Pia's ability to predict the opponent moves. Maybe this is an important skill that I am missing.
Well not saying they aren't amazing but anyone at this high rating can see the next logical moves
@@HossPX Which is exactly my point, I am not at this level.
@@simonforsberg3757 Then you are just not good enough simon
@@enigmaaoe3503bit rude
The ending was so funny 😂 I know very little about chess and I didn’t know it could just end like that hahaha the bot really said “welp I’m not about to let my rating go down because of y’all” and peaced out lmao
It is a great lesson to see how important it is to be patient in chess.
If only more ppl had the same energy and smile as Anna the world would be a great place…what a fantastic woman❤
Watching you guys I am learning my biggest weakness is thinking about my opponents best move against me. By far. I am going to have to work on that.
