I think you guys are forgetting about the Anabaptists and Hussites who were also a very important protestant groups that just as the Calvinists faced persecution. I think it's a little harsh to forget to mention them when they suffered greatly for their beliefs and did good works.
The Hussites rose up nearly 2 centuries before, and what little had remained of them after the Hussite Wars was stamped out and driven underground by Ferdinand (the largest Brethren population at the time was a town in Poland near the border with Bohemia)
@@CollinBuckman yeah, that's what I'm saying. This was a period in which hussites were forced to convert and were mass genocided.
completely off topic but I just love how the artists draw the horses. They're so round!
I see you once again have summoned the Sabaton fans.
The beginning of the video: Sad and pretty deep message

In the subsequent peace, we’re going to forget about Luxembourg and the Balkans.

Best two days of my life.
We all know how this started the great defenestration* of Prague.
*to throw some one out of a window
Yeah, both
Thank you guys so much for covering this topic.
Ah yes a video that helps me learn about the 30 years war, 1 week after I take my test for the 30 yers war
OOF
When I saw this in my notifications I got excited!
If i had a Nickel for every time someone threw someone else out of a Window in Prague for religious reasons i'd have two Nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
Three at least.
Yay! New artsyle!
I kinda would love to see an episode about the Book of Revelation. Not sure if that should be an Extra History or an Extra Mythology or maybe a new series altogether.
It'd perfectly fit Extra Mythology
Wooo, this is cool. Hope the Irish chapter of this terrible period will be covered including the Battle of Kinsale, the Flight of the Earl's and the Plantation of Ulster
