Hey everyone! Thanks so much for watching. If you've discovered other helpful, related FB hacks, please feel free to share them here, so we can all benefit (and who knows...the advice might make it into a future video)! 😀
Hi it is really interesting i watched all the video. But one thing i can not find in my facebook pages is targerting audience section. Below the posting photo or link or whatever there is no option like this. Please can you tell me where is it exactly.
Thanks for asking about this! FB changed this sometime after my video was published. Now if you want to see the targeting option, you can only see it if you do "Create post" through Creator Studio. And for me, the easiest way to get to Creator Studio is to literally Google it while FB is open on another browser tab. I hope this helps!
Thanks for asking, and unfortunately I don't know what would be causing it. The two possibilities I can think of: (1) if you have "fake" followers, maybe FB is purging them, and (2) if the frequency or nature of your content has changed that it no longer resonates with your audience, you could be losing followers for that reason. I hope that provides at least a little insight, and best of luck!
Great insights! Newsfeed targeting has been such a game-changer for me. 🎯 Also, I've been using boost app social to spice up my content. Helps a lot with crafting descriptions and generating engagement-boosting ideas. Just an idea for those in need of a creative boost!
This is my third Facebook video I've watched by Delaware ShoutOut and they've all not only been very informative but love all the positive energy she delivers the videos with. Plan on watching all her Facebook videos and then moving on to other social media videos she's made as I (slowly) teach myself social marketing.
I'm glad you liked the video, Bryce! Also look to see if you're getting less reach in general - that would be an issue with FB and not as much with the content you're putting out there.
Thanks for asking. It looks like FB just took that button away - I don't see it on my page anymore, either!!! And I'm not seeing Creator Studio anywhere in the left-side admin panel. The only way I was able to access it was to type: business (dot) facebook (dot) com (forward slash) creatorstudio (forward slash) home and then click on the green "Create New" button in the top left corner, and then Create Post. I hope that helps!
I have simple heard this recommended time and time again for social media pros across multiple platforms. And it makes perfect sense -- you're increasing the engagement, which signals to the platforms that your post should be delivered to more newsfeeds.
PLEASE HELP! I just keep uploading Facebook reels every day and they never get seen by The general public. They only get seen by people on my friends list. Can you please explain why?
Thanks for asking! It probably has to do with the algorithm. Facebook is favoring Reels that have a higher engagement rate (or possibly a higher engagement volume), meaning that larger accounts are favored.
@@DelawareShoutOut damn that's super lame! So the ones that already have higher engagement get priority? That doesn't make sense. How did they get larger engagement in the first place??
If it's based on the higher engagement rate, that means the content has inspired a greater percentage of people to like, comment, and share - i.e., it's good content. If it's based on larger volumes of engagement, that's typically because it's a larger account, so they have a larger pool to draw from.
@@DelawareShoutOut okay but how do I get a larger pool to draw from in the first place if they won't show my content to anybody? Is literally paying them to promote my stuff the ONLY way to actually grow? That's incredibly greedy of Facebook if that's the case. As if they don't make enough money already!
Quick question: i just finished setting up my business page but the thing is i already posted videos on my profile which i turned into a professional mode. My question is does my profile has the right to get monetized ??? Thanks
Thanks for asking! My understanding is that turning your profile to Professional Mode will make you eligible for monetization, as long as you’re adhering to FB community guidelines. I hope that helps!
I appreciate some of the suggestions and will try a few of the things suggested. However, your Creator Studio page is different to what comes up on mine. I get a panel on the right side of the screen and there is nowhere to adjust the audience. Is it just an American thing or is it supposed to be world wide? I checked all my settings, can't find where to fix it.
Thanks for asking about this, Andreas. The Creator Studio page moved shortly after I published the video. FB is so frustrating that way!!! Anyway, here's the workaround. While you have FB open, in a separate browser tab on Google type in "Creator Studio Facebook." That's been the easiest way for me to get to my Creator Studio page! From there, click on the green Create New button, then Create Post. Then you'll see the News Feed Targeting option. I hope that helps!
Thanks for asking! Creator Studio is still accessible, but it's now harder to find. Your best bet is to Google "Facebook Creator Studio" while you're already logged into FB in another browser tab. Then click the green "Create new" button and then "Create post." Then you'll see the news feed targeting option. Keep in mind that there are many different versions of the FB interface out there, so hopefully what I'm seeing on my screen will work for you, too! :-)
Thanks for reaching out about this, Joel. On my end, Facebook news feed targeting is available when I select it from "Create post" when I'm in Creator Studio. You can always report this to Facebook, as it might be "broken" on your page and they need to fix it.
Thanks for asking, Mary Claire! For your business presence, a business page is strongly recommended. You can run paid ads from a business page and get lots of good analytics (organic and paid) from a business page. On rare occasion I’ll share something to my personal network, but I don’t want to get a reputation for being too “salesy” among my friends. 🙂 I hope that helps!
This makes no sense. The whole I idea is to have a call to action to outside website or landing page, or you are wasting your time. It goes against the idea to promote traffic to your site. I sell on Redbubble and without linking to my Redbubble shop, then it is meaningless. I am not looking for followers on Facebook, but traffic to my site.
Hi Betty! I see where you're coming from. From Facebook's standpoint, they want to keep people on Facebook so that people stay active on FB, so they reward posts that keep people on Facebook, i.e., don't direct them away. So if we, as business owners, want to market to people who are on Facebook, we have to play by Facebook's rules. When I have a post that's super important that directs people outside of Facebook, I boost it -- if you pay Facebook, they're happy to deliver your post to lots of newsfeeds, LOL! Finally, note that most social media sites and even UA-cam have a similar algorithm -- they favor posts that keep people on their platforms.
That's a really, really good question! I don't think there would be any violations, but I don't have any experience in this scenario (nor do my clients), so I'm not 100% sure. I'm sorry I can't help more!
Thanks for asking! I offer one-on-one training. If you’d like to learn more about it, in the description of this video you’ll see a section that says “Want to work with me?” You can schedule a time for a discovery call to see if my training is a good fit. Looking forward to talking with you!
Thanks for asking. So are you copying the link but then can't find the link? You'll be able to find the link by tapping/pressing on the dialog box in which you plan to write your post, and then you'll see "paste" - it will paste the link.
@@DelawareShoutOut Yes i click the arrow (after like comment ) and copy link , paste to whatsapp but what they see is A thumbs up with Page not found " (link you followed may be broken...... message ) no clue. my profile is public - i think
@@DelawareShoutOut was trying to attach a screenshot but can’t . To show what exactly the other end see ( of course my friend list in FB ) . FB help never answer any questions:( .. ty soooooooo much for responding . I m ur subscriber and keep posting videos

What is fake followers?
Liking your own comment was always silly to me .. i would only like my own post but it really makes sense now thank you !!!
Oh, believe me, I *still* feel silly liking my own comment, but if I have a message that I want more people to see, it's totally worth it. 😀

Wow, thank you sooooo much, Allan! I really appreciate it. 😀👍 I’m really glad you’re enjoying my videos.
This is useful and thank you! The algorithm has made it a struggle since 2019 for my personal page. Prior to that, it was solid!
I'm so glad you found it helpful! Yes, FB has made it harder and harder to reach people organically, so every little thing we can do will help.
Great video with solid info & tips! I’m hoping I learned something about why my engagement has tanked over the last 6wks.
I'm glad you liked the video, Bryce! Also look to see if you're getting less reach in general - that would be an issue with FB and not as much with the content you're putting out there.
I’m gonna start commenting from my personal page too lol
Yes, that works, too!
Good video, having lot of friends and share to your profile will help as well.
Thank you so much for sharing! 😊
