I am a big Peter Gabriel fan. This song hits home to me. Peter wrote this song about his relationship with his daughter, when he was going through a divorce and their relationship was strained. He asked her to "come to talk to me" to break out of our misery. It appeared to work. There is a video on-line of him and his daughter singing this song. I hope I reconned with my daughter some time soon too.

I wish for more of the trailer sessions. "Live on the Inside" remains my second-favorite album. Having BPD, I have often used its concert DVD for mindfulness, and to simply relax. But, the album itself communicates the spectacle and hard-work for Sugarland's love--that of music--in all its forms.
This felt like a return to that album. It also caused me to resample Gabriel's version and to connect my own experiences with music and trailers, unloading freight and scratching bars as we did it. Thank you.
