agreed and I am wishing that it was a scripted thing, like they were indeed supposed to help the poor security guard and the owner kicking them out is also part of the good-ending scenario and if there are such rp venues with scenarios like that, God, am I interested.
The “you cannot do anything in clubs that deviates from the rp rail road laid out by the owner” is so true I once was asked to go to a club by my friend but I found it boring so I decided to sit in the fridge at the bar which the first bartender found funny and didn’t mind to much but the second got genuinely angry and told me I was ruining the party
@@rocksteadyska6933 So, as an escort, basically it can come down to making connections. You start off by making friends in the venue, either by chatting to the bartender, paying for 'services', the like. I lucked out and basically befriended the DJ manager, who was best friends with the big boss, and that kinda led me to being in the in group, but it is NOT necessary. All it takes to 'get started' is to visit clubs, find ones you like, and ask if they're hiring. If the pay is high, go for it. Getting clients can be tricky. What matters is your approach, and if they're not broke. I've had people who come there just wanting to vibe in the atmosphere and listen to the DJ, and sometimes I've had people who are interested in ERP but are simply broke. Either way, you treat them right. Put in effort, flirt with them, talk with them. Make them feel wanted and special. 9/10 you'll make their night just by giving them that attention, that connection. And then, in my experience, they come back, usually with enough gil to afford more time and spicier services, and then the evening takes its course.
@rocksteadyska6933 you go to a club, you check if they are recruiting, you type some lines in an audition, if they think you're good enough, you're in (I work in a venue). People are chill and we goof around a lot.

I’m honestly surprised the Golden Saucer isn’t the peak AFK spot: It has two summoning bells next to Aetherite if you need to sell anything, there’s an Airship just a short trip around the corner that can bring you to all the major cities of Eorzea (Ul’Dah being completely free), and there’s tons of minigame that occasionally go off, and decent number of minigames to play while waiting for the Duty Finder to go off.
That's because low level characters that don't play MSQ can be in Limsa. Some people just want to ERP on their alt I guess, but don't want to slog thru a bunch of stuff
@@InquisitorThomas Mostly just cause stuff like Limsa is low level, unlocked through the story and everyone HAS to pass through it at some point while GS is optional and entirely missable, aside from the minigames it has a nearby retainer bell and a really close MB that GS doesn't have at all, limsa has merchants while GS has merchants that only sell GS items so if you're crafting it's not a good spot. Most also really don't care about going to the other cities. Uldah like you mentioned is free but... well it's just an awkward city to get used to/isn't as quick to reach stuff you need and you have to go to the airship landing, then to the other side of the airship landing, out through another small loading screen, a sprint to the mini aetheryte and then to the MB area. The minigames as well are half the time leap of faith or the rail shooter so you can't actually wait on your queue as both are a duty you have to enter, and having queue pop mid Yojimbo or sneezy boi and you're doing well would be annoying. If you're just looking to AFK it's alright, but any kind of actively wanting to do stuff is just easier to go to Limsa or one of the cities. This is a long comment cause I'm waiting on queue as dps and needed something to do, ty for your time.
