I've been loving watching this back but feel the need to comment on something entirely trivial. my favorite chat line in the entire day comes at 5:11:59, someone suggests that the four leaf clover doubles(!) the ghost timer from 2:50(!) to 5:00. demonstrates in one swoop that they haven't really been paying much attention to the stream and that they don't understand how time works, the latter of which is the funniest thing in the world to me. thanks for posting these unedited, hec, absolute treasures.
And the most insane thing is that if they would play themselves, they would go pretty well with that. No understanding time or understanding when the ghost comes needed
the ghost appeared at 2:30 in HD, I feel like they might have assumed it does the same in this game and typoed the 2:50. sorry if i ruined your favourite chat line :D
I watched this live and come back every 6 months or so to relive it (and the next couple of episodes), just to watch Hec discover stuff for the first time.
Watched Bananasaurus Rex do the same thing, but Hectique is being a lot smarter about things they’re discovering. Testing/asking the right questions. Also Rex was being quite snarky to chat - I think the spoiler chat is a smart idea.

Well, Hec isn't a PS4 player anymore... he mentions a few times in this video that he's not used to controller because he played Spelunky 1 on PC with keyboard, but he HAD to do this at the time because the game was PS4 exclusive for about a month after it came out. A lot of players got it on PS4 on release, and then re-bought it later to switch to other platforms.
@@Cataclyscerator It was already different 10 months ago, around April 2022. The game released and this stream occurred in mid-September 2020, and the Steam version was out by the end of the month. Hec was certainly not still playing on PS4 in 2022.
