the algorithm has picked up this channel for me and I watch a lot of motorcycle \ racing videos.
I'm right there with ya with the pain in my back and right leg goes numb from the hip down, left leg knee (meniscus tore 20+ years ago)
No need to explain yourself for price etc.. YOUR TIME is valuable
Paypal ? maybe we can help, I know Canadians are to modest to ever ask for help like that but idk
Your work is absolutely incredible, detailed etc..

Thanks for the update & sorry to hear of your health crap. Getting old isn't for the weak so it's good to see/hear you're still hanging in there.
Here's to hoping you get past your back issues.
And I can't believe the shipping horror you have to deal with. I used to whine about it here in the US, but it's nothing like you describe.

Had been wondering and sorry to hear of your health issues, I've had a bad back and had a flare up at the same time, not comparing my issue equivalent I know you said you broke it years ago, hoping for recovery to something manageable, just saw a beautifully restored 85 CR250 sell for $3300 in auction I'm sure it was a loss to the consignor, too bad the economics have declined, your work was top notch and a plus for the vintage machines you undertook

Sorry to hear all that. Government and the tax it imposes takes away much more than it provides.

I’m sorry to hear this! I’ve always enjoyed watching your videos! Seems like the government is always out to screw you whether it’s ours or yours. Tax, tax, tax!
I saw the two sets of tires in the background and thought maybe you were switching over to some kinda car racing. Good luck with whatever comes next!

I'm getting older myself with a sore back too. Dirt bikes have been my passion for my entire life and I know that it will eventually end, not because it isn't fun, but I'm in too much pain after riding. I have enjoyed your channel over the years while you built up the very Hondas that I dreamed of owning as a teenager. Thanks for the great content and I look forward to seeing your future videos.

I was wondering what happend Troy. Glad you are ok. I had to hold up too after by 87 build due to work focus but in the meantime I have bought 3x 82 Rm 125's from USA for scrap money so I will now stop buying but at least I have enough bikes to restore over a lifetime. Its warming up so I might do a tuning ride video on the 87 so if you see anything I am doing wrong shout me up. So hope you get on top of your 'health gear' again. Best Rob

As a fellow Canadian that restored a 1985 xr250r I feel your pain. Parts seem cheap until you add everything up to get it to your door.

Ya its just nuts. just bought a used chain guard plate that needs an hours work for $20 usd. by the time i walked it into Canada it cost me $44 cad

I feel your pain, the price of parts in Canada is pretty tough to swallow.

Really sorry to hear this Troy. I always looked forward to your videos and you have restored some absolutely beautiful bikes. But you need to take care of yourself first, above all else. And secondly if the costs are too much, you have to face reality. I hope you still do some videos of smaller jobs, your attention to detail is impressive. Take care of yourself, and I’m wishing you all the best. -Dan

Sorry to hear that but totally understand. Prices of parts have gone up and all these extra taxes and shipping costs makes restoring bikes in perfect OEM condition difficult. Anyway thanks for the great video's so far and looking forward to see the future one's.

feel your pain mate , i don't know what's happened with the world but it sucks . youtube seems a waste of time these days unless you have the subscriber base buying the tat they sell and raffle off the builds. i know of a 87 cr500 would love to go for it but the maths just doesn't work

  • @jeffferguson899

you could always refocus your channel and just buy bikes , do a light fix up and flip them. no need for complete restorations

    • @TNTMOTO
      @TNTMOTO  5 місяців тому

The problem with that is bikes up here are still expensive. And i know myself, i would not feel good selling something that was not perfect.

I just restored a 1940 John Deere B and ran into the same parts issues. I’m interested in talking to you about doing a resto on my 94 KX 500. I will email you soon. Really good seeing you again !
