JUG FISHING THE MISSOURI RIVER FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME. USING HOT DOGS FOR BAIT LETS SEE IF WE CAN LAND A BIG MISSOURI RIVER CATFISH MY FIRST TIME OUT.
I just subscribed to your channel, we jug fish all the time in Kentucky. Put out 50 jugs at a time. Nothing like chasing one down with a monster blue on the end. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos 🎣🎣🎣
Got 2 cousins who are brothers who do this near the Boone Bridge on the MO River. They keep the giant Flatheads and Blue Cats, and throw the Channel Cats back in.
at the start of the video, is it just me or does their look as if their is a SUV suspended on a pole up in the air to the Right..... freaking me out :) great video!
Proper way of jug fishing is setting youre jugs at least 20 to 25 feet apart with lines no more deeper then 8 foot without any sinkers on them , some bigger catfish can smell the lead and not bite
I had a big fish here while back bit and started pulling drag i grabbed my pole reeled him in a bit then he started pulling drag again and then just came off reeled my line on in to see if I still had bait on my hook bait was still on hook noticed my 5oz sinker had something shiny about it looked at my sinker had teeth scratches on it so I say you probably wrong about that comment
@@calvinhoward2407I've heard of that happening, sometimes they go for the lead I guess..I pulled gar to the bank that was attached to my spook on my santee cooper rig.
This was my first time jug fishing. I tagged along for the experience. The guy who took me jugging didn't want to mess with em. And me personally I don't catch fish to eat. I catch fish for sport.

Thanks for watching...I'll have to go look an see 😀👍
😂..your right the boat seat in the front does look like a suv on a pole 😀👍
We use to do that on spring river in S.w. no.
Guys, I jug all the time. Talking does not matter. It also makes for a much better video.
I generally used Beef heart, never had luck with dot dogs
Yeah, I was shocked to see a flathead on the hook using hotdog. Was my 1st time jug fishing so I didn't expect that.
Cool video my man. How do you keep the eyebolt from leaking ?
A little bit of silicone does the trick...thanks for watching

Are you realy stupid enough to come on a man’s video and try to say your way is the only way?
No it's not
Nice job but why would you not keep them? 😂
I was just along for the ride, and my buddy didn't want to keep them oddly enough most the time he does.
What's the size of the trouble hook?
Not sure, it was my buddy's set up..I do know it wasnt a treble hook tho. It was 2 j hooks zip tied together. Not sure on the size.
How come y’all not keeping them catfish

but if you aren't fishing to keep don't see the point ,
like working for no pay
Like I said, I was just along for the ride. I'm more of a rod n reel fisherman. Just experiencing other methods of fishing.
