Yes these videos are super inspirational. I liked the saying about the uphill mile and a rest before finishing the pack. It is important to break a task into small pieces.
Ya, as I look back the hunts that I remember most fondly were the toughest ones. All that hard work sure burns the memory more deeply. Nice job on a great buck!
wow you weren't kidding when you said that burns hold nice bucks. Im going to go check out a burn I spotted a couple weeks ago. thats a really nice buck for public land too!
Nice buck! We had to settle for tag soup in the mountains of NM this year on my wifes mule deer hunt. its an area loaded with elk, and some deer, but not anything like the numbers of elk. Maybe this year we can draw the elk tags and go back again.
Is that a huge buck rub at 4:23 on that jack fir directly in front of you right when you start to love you and to the right. If so, that’s a bad boy right there. Great video, keep up the hard work, great hikes, amazing scenery. Take care and be safe out there.
Outstanding video and a Buck just as outstanding! Love it when hard work pays off, that's what hunting is all about...makes it all the more satisfying!! Gotta ask why neither you or Tim are using the bino harness you advertise? 6 episodes in and haven't seen it used yet.
i bought a bino harness last year. they definitely control the binos alot better, but, i find i sweat like a bejeezus where the webbed area is on your back. even late season, cold weather, and a big jacket on, that area back there sweats because a harness is pulling everything tight against your body. i will probably convert back to letting them swing free again.
Thanks James. These hunts were filmed the season before we came out with the bino harness. You will see more of it in new hunts we filmed this past fall.
That looks like a Kifaru Late Season pack. I bought one from Patrick 16 years ago and am still using it. This included a successful, solo, 13 day Big Horn Sheep hunt in Colorado this year.
You guys inspired me to go on my first solo hunt this year. I ended up missing (muzzleloader iron sights) and felt pretty bad about for awhile but seeing your guys' new uploads makes me wanna post up the footage anyway
Congrats man, awesome buck!!! You ever try and wrap your left arm through and out of the sling to hold for a steady shot while standing. I read it somewhere online and its helped me hold steady a little better.
Remi How far did you have to pack that deer out, amazed at the super human effort you put into finding your animals and then packing back to your truck. It would be nice to have a horse to help do the heavy lifting. There are a lot of hunters who get off the roads, but usually have a partner or two.
if you like the thick stuff Remi man, you should come east and hunt the Adirondacks for White tail brother. Its a good time... at least we enjoy it. No promises in the big woods, good times, good people... and the occasional slob. I am not sayin you cant hunt with us or that I will show you my spots but you should check it out for yourself, I would love to see an edit from you for this area. The thickness ain't a sickness, nice footy dawg.
Hey bro, would it not make sense to put orange flags or something on those antlers before it goes on my your back? I saw the orange flap but is that enough? Love it bro
Thank you! This is an old kifaru pack hes had for years. They don't make it any more. Closest thing to it would be the Late Season or Spike Camp from Kifaru.
just to clarify, i wasnt refering to the solohunter brand of bino harness, but bino harnesses in general. and it could just be me and how my body reacts to them. mine are bushnell, and use a foamish material for that webbed area, andmeven though they holed itvup for breathability, i think its more because of the pull on the body why i sweat. i notice leupold just went minimalistic and only uses a very small leather pad to hold the crossing straps.
I live here in Idaho but do not know where you are hunting, if you did say I missed it but all I can say is that does not look like an area that would not have many deer, that looks like big buck country and enough that they would not be that hard to find.
That's where I hunt all the time, - no deer. I like to hunt where there is deer. Just walking rocks and mountains, just don't seem worth it to me. Then there's is no chance for a bow shot. Gun hunting yes, bow, just a waste of time.
LMAO..The comments here kill me, so many of you fan-boys fall for this high production professional hunting for profit stuff. This is a professional outfitter guide service with 1000's of trail cams and student apprentice guides finding and tracking animal's year round! NOTHING is by chance or hard work! They know the exact location of everything they hunt! (100% edited acting and all for $$ profit) It might be fun to watch for you kinda wanta-be hunters or the halfass lazy hunters! But this profit stuff here has killed the sport of hunting in the Western States for the everyday ethical guy!
This episode feels like 95% of my hunting, but without the buck at the end :P
My favorite episode of solo Hunter. Remi is one hell of a hunter.
Absolutely awesome Remmi!
This is what I like about this Channel, It is the REAL DEAL ON HUNTING, Thanks Tim & Remi. Paul, Owner: Silver Creek Outfitters Ga.
Only just discovered your vids ....loving everyone of them...awesome effort on the cameras guys ...cheers.
Most impressed by tenacity.
What a tank, look at those forks! Great buck, Remi. Well earned. Like you've said, that heavy pack out is one of the best parts!

Great Video! A hunter after my own heart!
Man what a beautiful buck
wow you weren't kidding when you said that burns hold nice bucks.

Another awesome video. Nice buck, nice job.

Thanks for the input. We are always trying to make things better
Looked like a very athletic hunt. Love the Sasquatch Chronicles theme music in the middle of it. Thumbs up!
I was so nervous for you. That is a beautiful deer.
Amazing hunt! Thank you for sharing.
Great job and videos remi
KILLER effort, awesome buck, GREAT hunt.

Thank you! Do it.

Epic watch bro! Good work, very well done!!!

Awesome video.

What pack are you using in this video? I am looking on buying a haul pack.
Hey bro, would it not make sense to put orange flags or something on those antlers before it goes on my your back? I saw the orange flap but is that enough? Love it bro
Loved watching this hunt! Very happy to see that all your hard work paid off for you! Way to go
Hey, great video! Solo huntr is my favorite channel! What pack was Remi using in this video? Thanks
Thank you! This is an old kifaru pack hes had for years. They don't make it any more. Closest thing to it would be the Late Season or Spike Camp from Kifaru.
SOLO HNTR Ok thanks! Ill check them out.
Thank
what happens with the rest of the buck? You only shoot it for the antlers? cheers

Hey Remi was wondering what sight you use on your hunting bow?
Curious as to what cameras Remi is using to record his hunts. Ex: male &model
Hey Remi‼‼
What caliber rifle is it in this video?
off hand...ridiculous at that distance. impressive.
I hunt those mountains every year, big buck country. Other have found it in the past few years. but head up and the people disappear.
Hey Remi. Needle in a stack of needles, saving private ryan? Greetings from the Manhattan of Mt
I live here in Idaho but do not know where you are hunting, if you did say I missed it but all I can say is that does not look like an area that would not have many deer, that looks like big buck country and enough that they would not be that hard to find.
Nice work Remi! Was that here in MT?
"Remi Warren is on a remote hunt for Mule Deer in the mountains of Idaho."
What pants were you wearing in this hunt?
excellent
On these solo hunts, do you come back and pack all the meat? No way that anyone can pack all the meat and the head out on one trip!
No hunter orange required in Idaho for their rifle season???
correct
What caliber are you using?
300wsm
That is an amazing video. Come to NorCal for blacktail!
Huh, our neighbors just sit in their truck and watch their alfalfa field, then post hero shots on FB like they've actually done something meaningful!
How do you fit an entire deer in a pack??? I'm not buying it. There had to have been wasted meat.
That's where I hunt all the time, - no deer. I like to hunt where there is deer. Just walking rocks and mountains, just don't seem worth it to me. Then there's is no chance for a bow shot. Gun hunting yes, bow, just a waste of time.
Most still don't understand that turning loose a Canadian wolf specie to wreak havoc on our big game population wasn't a genius maneuver.
10 days in the woods and Remi's beard still looks like he just trimmed and oiled it.
I hate him. My beard looks ratty 10 minutes out of the shower
Great edit, couldn't watch though, the music is too much. Too intense. I want to hear the sounds of nature.
Wanton waste.
???
