@@stephanieyang9168 haha that's fine, I love the unit of measurement you used Haha. Thanks l. I think I'm gonna get some button quail soon and there is a surprising lack of information on proper enclosure set up out there.
@@alexiscervantes5157 haha yes the sticker i took off was a picture of 2 pillows inside the bin ! 😅 yeah a lot of people use the plastic drawers, i don't know if you've seen that but if i was a button quail I would be very claustrophobic in such a low ceiling. And good luck ! They are a delight to watch! If you want to be more hands on i have another video that gives some tips 👌
@@stephanieyang9168 thank you so much, i have 1 last question. How short can their enclosures be? In searching I find that I either get tubs with under 4sq ft of space and that's 12 inches tall or I can get a tub that has 4sq ft or more of space but it's only 7 inches tall. Just wondering if I should get the the taller tub or the smaller tub and from your experience do you think 7 inches is too small, because I know they jump up when scared.
Personally I would go with the higher one, just because a lot of owners have had button quails bump their heads and they bounce back but sometimes they don't. And most likely they won't jump as much if they get use to you. I have mine in the living room and when we come towards the cage they dont even flinch anymore because they are use to seeing people walk around.
Good idea to decorate there home adds nice colour plus like you said gives them places to hide 👍🏽
It does look awesome, how do they stay on the bottom?
Let me know if you guys liked them and which one is your favorite!
What size tote did you use?
I took the sticker off when I bought it but its the one that can fit 2 pillows on top of each other 😅
