Fished for two hours in my dad's 2009 skeeter without the plug in. Never noticed until he randomly hit the bilge and saw all the water. Skeeter was the first boat ever made. Ranger was the best but now skeeter has taken that position. Speed, holeshot, top end u can take ur hands off te wheel and drive blindfolded. Unreal boats now.
In Arpil 2017, I just purchased my first Skeeter boat. Its a 1987 STARFIRE with a 150 Johnson. Everything is original and still working. Skeeter is now the only boat I will own and I'm a new loyal customer.
Imagine pulling up out of the water at your local ramp with this boat, lol.

I worked for skeeter in Kilgore as a driver hauling boats back in 2001 . I remember this boat sitting on our lot and looking at it in disbelief as those guys said they had just took it to the lake and it did great . The next week they had the video up in the main fourier . Skeeter boats started in Marshall Tx (30miles from Kilgore) in the 40's and is now owned by Yamaha. I've delivered skeeter boats all over the US, damn good boat ranger being it's only real competition

great boats. and yes good solid floatation but i do gotta call bs on one part. they say the men are not placed on the boat in a manner that would balance it properly by putting 3 up front and 1 person in the rear. but actually, thats because that big ass outboard weighs as much as 2 of those men by itself. so YES theyre placed strategically. just because it wasnt 2 more people on the back doesnt mean they werent balanced properly. still, aside from that, great boat.

Looks like my boat but 21ft fish and ski 225 efi racing motor 300zx probably sell it later but really like it it's a 95 full of storage something I never had and really gets out there and does its thing I always saw these boats on the lake never had the chance to run one always wanted a ranger but now I don't know about that hlong mo
might wanna turn you bildge pump on hopefully get some water out..

Bullshit! Show me a modern bass boat that does not do that.
Skeeter has shown that they can....maybe the other manufacturers need to prove they can do this.
Actually I can show you a few... Bullet, Allison, Bas Cat, to name just a few... Ranger started the foam filled cavities and Skeeter was the next to follow... You would think all bass boats would be required to provide that but they are not... and there are several out there that do not provide the foam filled hulls... But to ask someone to show you one that doesn't is... Like Doug said, maybe they need to prove they can do it...
