Love this beautiful idea! I love to see and keep the little scraps from the projects. What amazing results! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful tutorial! 😃
BTW have you thought about the quick foot attachment for your machine? Just a thought 😊
I'll have to look into one! Thanks for the info!
These are lovely. Thanks for sharing.
I really love these cards!
yes, shop tour please! Lovely cards. It's great how you're using every single bit of your scrap-scraps.
I like that- scrap scraps! LOL
These cards are so fun and I love them! I cannot wait to see a new tour of your shop. Your last tour was my favorite all time video.
Hi Lori, We will be leaving this week. It's been fun but I'm anxious to get back and start cleaning and stocking my little shop. I will do an update. Have a great week. Julia
I love making cards and love sewing quilty looking things… what a fun way this would be to combine the two!!! Great idea!! Love it
Hi Julia - These are so cute and would make great home decor to use or give as gifts! Such a fun idea. Would love a new tour of your shop - your summer happy place! Have a safe trip home.
Hugs 🌷🦜 🏝🏖 💕🦋
Hi Pam, We will be leaving this week. It will be good getting back but we have had so much fun in FL. I'm afraid it's going to be a few more weeks before I can get into my little shop back in MN. I'm itching to start! Have a great week. Julia
stitchesbyjulia It’s always good to get home. It will be exciting getting your shop ready for summer. Do you plan to spend winters in FL? Be safe going home. I know you are looking forward to the trip with the cat!!! Lol. 🏖🏝🌷🦜💕🤗
Than you for sharing, Julia ! I can’t wait to receive your fabric ribbon 👍 it’s so pretty I plan to use it on a fun appliqué quilt. I think your ribbon will add that special umph I’m looking for. I’m so happy I found your videos. I’m looking forward to next weeks, it sounds wonderful. I’m thinking I will be very interested in the kit. 💖 Take care and God Bless, Chris-Raleigh NC
Enjoy the ribbon! Happy creating.
You clever lady! What a good use of all my cuff scraps when I want to send a card but don't feel like painting or stamping. Thanks again :-)
Hi Phyllis, Thanks for watching- have a great week!
So pretty!
Love these. What a great idea to use up all those bits and baubs hanging around. Thanks
This is a really cute and artsy idea Julia. You always have such creative and inspiring ideas. Love your channel.
I really appreciate your "just do it" approach to the free motion quilting aspect of your projects. I upgraded my machine last summer and I have enjoyed re-discovering sewing again without the frustration and profanity lol It's like a whole new world because I can actually spend my time sewing instead of fighting an old machine. Turns out my new machine (nothing fancy but will grow with me a bit) can do the free motion! YAY!
Hi, I am so glad you are picking up sewing again. It is such a great hobby and this is a wonderful sewing community. Many viewers leave very helpful comments. There is so much talent out there! A new machine is also helpful. Free-motion takes some practice but is so worth the effort! Thanks for watching, Julia
Oh my !!!!! This is so inspirational, I came across this video while searching for something else. I can’t wait to give this a try. Never sewn anything in my life !!! Thank you so much 💜
Julia, your cards are gorgeous and so creative! I would love to see your craft stall!
Appreciate you and your content, thanks.
I'm so glad you are enjoying my videos, thanks for watching!
I’ve done this and totally forgotten about it! Your channel is the best and you are so sweet to share your art!! Thank you so much. I love all you do 😘😘😘
Hi Julia, Absolutely Love this project. Been a big fan for sometime. Would love to see an update of your shop. Your always give such great projects, and inspiration. Thank You!
This is such a good way to show your textile art! I think you must sign them as well as they truly are artwork. I would really love to see your summer shop again! Love your work and your videos Julia ❤️
These are fun!! I love all that you create, so upbeat and so much fun! I'd love to see an updated tour, your shop must make you smile everytime you enter!! ~Love~
Miss Julia,I got my fabric today, that I ordered from your Etsy Shop. I had to tell you, what a lovely packaging envelope, the little flower card with a thank you and your name stamped on the card. The fabric rolled and stuffed with plastic bags, so the fabric would stay nice. And it did stay nice, not a wrinkle.
I wanted to tell you this because it is the nicest package I have ever received from an Etsy owner. You really are great!
Thanks again. Can’t wait to play tomorrow on my new fabric.
Hi Sharon, Enjoy!
Hi Julia, I just got my answer to the question about sewing machines in your craft room tour. Thanks
Hi Jackie, I am so glad you are enjoying my videos! Yes, I have a Juki and a Janome. My Juki only has a straight stitch but sews fast and can take lots of layers. I also love it for free motion stitching. My Janome has lots of decorative stitches. I use both when I'm sewing, I usually have one set up for free motion and one for regular sewing. Thanks for watching!
Hi Julia, I've got a Babylock Quilters professional and it looks almost identical to your Juki, it is straight stitch only and 1500 spm. I'm going to try fmq, you make look very easy but it has always intimidated me. Thank you for getting back to me.
Cheers and happy creating, Jackie
What a great idea to make one of a kind greeting cards. My husband used to want to leave March 20th, to go back to Canada. Gets too hot here every fast.
We'll be leaving this week. It was a good winter to be in FL. So much snow and cold in MN!
stitchesbyjulia if I get up to New Richmond, WI this summer to visit my niece, then I'll try and catch up at your summer shop at the flea market. But that's a big if. The kids were talking about visiting down in FL during the summer. Too hot to even go to the beach.
These are so likable, Julia, thank you for posting.
BEAUTIFUL my God very unique...you are natural artist. Congratulations
I really appreciate your great videos. You are so cleaver and inspiring. Thank you
Simple yet stunning! Thanks for sharing. 💗
Thankyou Julia, loving your videos !
Hi Jean, I am so glad you are enjoying the videos. Thank you for watching. Happy Creating! Julia
You are so creative! I love these little works of art!
Hi Julia these are just beautiful I am sure they will be best sellers. I have just had a go at a textile type card, I must admit it was really strange sewing pieces of card on to fabric but I enjoyed it immensely and I was pleased with the result. I was wondering if you would consider selling digital courses for people like myself who are not in the USA- or having a Patreon scheme? Have a fabulous weekend Julia, always a treat to watch your channel. All my love always xxxxxxxxx Dorothy 🙋🏻❤️🌟
Hi Dorothy, I have some ideas for video classes with a download pattern. I am still working out some of the technical stuff but I'm getting closer. Thanks so much for watching! Have a great week. Julia
This would make a cute little blanket when you make your Lamas!!!!

I make card I will try this thanks
Hi Julia, thank you for all the great videos you do, very inspirational! I saw that you have a Juki machine and I was wondering if you used another one as well. If you do would you please let me know the brand. Thanks again, Jackie
Gah! These are so gorgeous.
You might want to let your viewers (and especially your buyers) know that these need to be labeled "Hand Cancel Only" for the Post Office, so they get delivered in one piece and without damage.
Having a hard time getting small strands of trimmings stitch on card without them losing their shape. Any suggestions?
possibly try a narrow zig-zig. or hand stitching the trim to the card.
